yea i just remember having them kinds of candy when i was younger. i couldnt stand eating koolaid without sugar that would be horrible. i guess they had to eat something though. my family never really had to much money when i was growing up but i always had good food at school.
terrys chocolate oranges are the bomb as well as fun dip one thing i used to always get as a kid was the suprise pack of candy for a dollar it was always nice getting new things but as far as weirdest candy my old friends mom was german and went there pretty often and she used to bring back this chocolate stick things that had the weirdest crunchy then smooth texture but they were insanely good everyone would always be hounding him for them
yea i dont like anything licorice flavored at all either. i always thought my dad was wierd to for likeing it. i wonder if the majority of people like or dislike licorice flavor. i think that most people i know dont really care for licorice
we weren't very well off, but we were better off than many of the folks at the school i went to, though by no means rich. it was a magnet school, and to my understanding you had to test in to get there, but if one kid in a family tested in, then their siblings got to go, too, so as not to split them up. my older brother tested in, so all three of us went. it was supposed to be the best elementary in the city, and since you had to test in to go to it they decided to put it in the worst part of town they could. that way, it would be the neighborhood school for the poorest kids in town and they wouldnt have to worry about testing in, they got to go by default. that way the poorest kids in town had access to the best elementary school there was in the area....at least thats how it was explained to me at a later date. i dont know how dead-on that is, but i think its a cool idea regardless. so anyway, we weren't particularly well off at all, but it was in a pretty bad part of town and there were a lot of kids there whose families were really hurting
You guys should really try this if you ever come by it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mallomars Best thing ever.
It tastes nothing like a marshmallow, the description does it no justice. It's more of this puffy wonderfully amazing cream that tastes like heaven covered by an ever better tasting chocolate coating. Hell, most cheap Swiss chocolate ain't got shit on it.
no, i mean i've had them, as well as a number of other marshmallow-based confections.... i dont like marshmallow unless its in smores, but even then i have to be in the mood
so you like that new hersheys smores bar? i havnt seen them in a while but i havnt really looked for them. i thought them things were really good when they first came out now i dont see them as much anymore
Anyone ever heard of that Japanese candy "Pocky" (pronounced 'pokey')? Its like a tiny breadstick dipped in choclate (or strawberry)- I hate the things but my boyfriend loves them-the strawberry anyways. Also candy-corn to me is just nasty.
I've had gummy tapeworms before. They are pretty goooood And I also boughts these candies from China town that were shaped like little tree stubs and the box was just pictures of a hunter smoking and killing animals. Those were also delicious.
i love pocky, especially chocolate. the green tea pocky looks good, too. but the strawberry is delicious. i wouldnt call it candy though...i think of it more like a cookie. but i guess the distinction really doesnt matter much. and yeah, candy corn IS pretty bad
pocky is great, mallomars are the greatest thing to hit this stoners lips, chocolate covered grasshoppers and ants are good. and i really like licorice. a candy i cant stand is ribbon candy i dont know why but i hate it
