I completly agree with the UN. Here's the Amnesty International link for more info. http://www.amnesty.org/en/news-and-updates/news/un-calls-halt-executions-20071218

However, I have a feeling our dear old president & cabinet will probably decide that they do not want to participate in this particular UN event, seeing that it is pointing out the flaws in OUR government system [what, we have flaws?!].

We need to let the government know we expect them to fall in line, not only because the barbaric nature of capital punishment, but also because America needs to realize it is not above the United Nations, if we decide to participate in it.

Anyone with more protest experience, or just a good idea, please help. Thank you!

In New Jersey, the State Legislature has ended the death penalty as of December 2007.

Most reformers seek a judicial remidy. An act by a Legislature is a tougher but more legit reform.

Before you get behind anything of the UN, go over on the conspiracy forum and read up. They've got some interesting thougths on the UN over there.
