crazy people dont think they are crazy, proven fact, so i dont think you are crazy but i do think that you are depressed, so see a doctor, or a psychatrist?(dont know how to spell that), you even said it yourself in the post you are depressed, find a hobby or make some friends man .

thats complete BS. im diagnosed paranoid schizo first diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder as of about a year ago. sometimes i dont know if im sane, not insane, alive, dead ect ect. i defintly knew i was crazy before i went into my first "episode" and other days im not so sure.

having thoughts about killing people, hurting yourself and general delusional/unhealthy thoughts is never a good sign. if it bothers you get some help. doesnt mean your crazy or not crazy. nobody can help you thru the internet though so see a doc or something.

    PEACE!

Having "Suicidal thoughts" is very serious.
Don't hesitate, see a Doctor right away.
    You may have bi-polar disease.
Bi-Polar disease is a degenerative disease.
In other words it gets worse as you get older, like diabetes.
With diabetes as you grow older you make less and less insulin. Therefore you need more and more medicine. The same is true with Bi-polar disease. The older you get the less natural mayo-inhibitor you generate therefore you must take more medicine.

If you are extremely serious about it, like making repeated attempts then don't tell the doctor that. They'll have you locked up....

Trust me your not insane. Many people go through the same thing you do. I also have anxiety, i get depressed a lot, im basically anorexic and have been for the past year, and almost every week i go through something where i think about killing myself. I know i need help but i want to try and deal with this on my own. Im 17 and missing out on a lot but i know once i start doing more healthy things i will feel a lot better and not be in the situation that im in now. With your anxiety try taking things slow and easy, dont stress over things to much, just relax. Instead of being depressed try to do things that make you happy, maybe go treat yourself to some gifts or go out with some friends and party and maybe try to meet someone. Then instead of not eating try and force yourself by eating an apple on the go or grabbing something while your out. Dont not eat, you get way more tired and feel really crappy. And it will help with your depression and stuff. And try not to put yourself in the situation where you know your going to get upset and think about killing yourself. Be happy and take life easy. Dont think your the only one going through this because your not a lone, theres millions and millions of other people going through the same exact thing. It just takes time. Im sure everyone experiences the same thing you do atleast once in there life. Goodluck to you. I things change for you soon and you get better.

i didn't expect to see so many people in here giving the "go see a Dr" advice. First of all a Dr isn't going to tell you anything that you aren't already saying...second of all they are only going to push their drugs on you. Third of all - i don't think you're insane. The ego is a very oppressive part of the brain. Learn to stop revolving around it. I've been where you are...suicidal, depressed, controlled by anxiety..But Depression is a normal part of life....My best advice for Depression: Get over it! Anti depressants don't fix the problem. People use anti depressants as a crutch...people use their depression as a crutch. Realize that depression is a cause and effect situation...something is obviously going on in your life that is causing you to feel hopeless..The effect is depression and anxiety. Suicidal thoughts are just "poor me" feelings. You obviously have some form of happiness in your life worth living for otherwise you would've already done the deed.

Evaluate your life goals. What are your dreams and ambitions? What can you do to attain the feelings you desire? Don't let your reality revolve around the Ego. Stop Dwelling-Be optimistic, Make friends, Smoke a blunt, Go feed the ducks at the park, Join a community based project and do something positive, Don't let yourself think too much...Go on a date, Get Laid, Write in a journal, Listen to music that makes you feel good.

Channel your negative feelings into something positive. Feel like shit? Write a song about it! Feel Lonely?? Go visit some old people in a home. or Get a dog. Remember that whatever your situation is there is always someone who has it worse than you. Just be thankful for what you do have..and don't let your Ego control your life!

First off, stop saying you're 64 if you're only 27.

If you don't like your life, change it. You're the only one who can.

I love my family dearly, but I prefer to keep a buffer of at least a thousand miles. Maybe the "family" business isn't your cup of tea? Hard to break from what is expected of you as a family member sometimes.

Don't be afraid to tell them this. YOUR personal happiness is more important than theirs. I'd put personal happiness above how many zeros are in my savings account any day of the week.

i dont think im insane, i've known that i am insane since i was a little kid. also, if anyone ever has questions to whether they are insane or not, just ask the voices in my head, they will ask you to take a number but im sure they will let you know in the next few days.

I'm not doctor, but I do work in a psychologist's office (4 docs), and this sounds like a classic case of depression/anxiety. Depression, racing thoughts, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, are all symptoms of instability, but very TREATABLE AND REVERSIBLE instability. Meds and/or therapy will usually work wonders; and the fact that you recognize something is wrong really is half the battle.
