Me and some friends are thinking about watching Pink Floyd's The Wall movie on big screen projector, while on acid. Im sure many of you have seen the movie, it's one of my favorites as the movie's images really make you think about alot of social situations, politics, etc. Im worried that it might be too much thinking though and lead us to panic. Anyone experience any bad trips while watching a movie, or even better anyone watch The Wall while tripping?
Very good idea, very good movie. You'll get a bad trip if you think you could get one. As on every trip, you need a "stable mind" (I hope you understand me, because my english is not the best). We have done a "movie session" on acid too, like this, with a projector. It was awesome. If you have enough space, I can recommend to get everyone a bathtub / small pool or wading pool this was excellent and a awesome experience Ciao
there are way better movies then the wall to watch tripping..... the wall is just so depressing. Very intense though. I suggest watching the grateful dead movie or the beatles yellow submarine if you are looking for a positive tripping movie.
The Wall is pretty intense, but the all time best trip movie I've ever seen would have to be Minority Report. Seriously.
The Wall is not meant to be watched straight. If you are determined to watch it, then by all means watch it tripping. the only concern is that it is a heavy downer movie, if you want you trip to be light and fluffy then go do something else.
hahahaha what a choice. I love that movie. Never thought I would hear it described as the ultimate tripping movie, but I can see how it would be a lot of fun to watch while tripping.
^ That movie was amazing, but kind of like them one-time only movies.. Couldn't find it in me to watch that again.
May I suggest The Doors as well? I've watched that movie at least a dozen times and it is still extremely trippy, then again I love the Doors a little too much. But yeah, when I watched it on LSD for the first time I was entirely sucked into and it was cool
Aww man, that scene with him and that lady in her greenhouse was so amazing. All the dialouge is really messed up too, and I just find the whole premise of the movie to be pretty trippy.
