Eric Clapton - Have you ever loved a woman Have you ever loved a woman so much you tremble in pain? Have you ever loved a woman so much you tremble in pain? And all the time you know she bears another mans name. But you just love that woman so much its a shame and a sin. You just love that woman so much its a shame and a sin. But all the time you know she belongs to your very best friend. Have you ever loved a woman and you know you cant leave her alone? Have you ever loved a woman and you know you cant leave her alone? Something deep inside of you wont let you wreck your best friends home. Yes I have !!
Yes I have loved a woman that much..... I will always love her that much on some level But we never be together.
I heard that song on the radio today....killer tune Wonder if it was written about Patti Boyd (George Harrison's ex-wife)?
Im in love with a girl who once used to be my girlfriend, we broke up because she went to London to take a course in English (had planned even before we met) now that she is back it seems she has lost the love she felt for me...
Feelf terrible investing so much time and thoughts on somebody who doesent care for you in the same way..
Indeed I have. It begs the age-old question; is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all? I still have no answer, but I am leaning towards "no." Love is all that is truly important to me, as love would solve so much in this hostile world.
It's better to have love and lost, in my opinion. Only felt somewhere like that song for a short time though. And that was even the strongest shortly after we broke up I guess.
Although losing love hurts, I still prefer to have lived with love, experienced all the emotions it brings, tasted its flavour and lose it, than have never felt what it is to be in love, which can be compare to nothing else.
