And you control your body and mind.

Being in control is perhaps not as "easy" as following your reptilian instinct to always be somewhere where its between a specific temperature range... but its far from impossible and indicates a level of control over your life itself.

No I'm not saying you "must" freeze or fry, do what is within your power to get your body within the range it needs to be... you just can't allow the outside temperature to control you.

Being able to not be affected by the temperature is something like the ability to eat nothing and drink only water for a week.

I am quite toasty. I've got this portable electric heater sitting right next to me.

Those things are a *tremendous* waste of electricity... generating heat is the least effeciant way to use electricity.

That said I've got one myself thats pretty similar - they are definitely safer than gas.... but even 1500w can't do much but heat up a small area.

I use one in my car when I cool out in the garage smoke/listen to music, 750 watts heats up my tiny lil econobox very well, but I use it as sparingly as possible.

yea, you can get withstand the temperature for some time...but that doesn't actually negate the effects it does have on you. you may be thinking it isn't cold, but you still can get frost bite. these injuries will happen even if your thinking its not cold.

10 degrees is not cold...its actually quite warm when your camping out in -20 to -40F weather. that doesn't change the fact that 10 degrees is still cold and will do damage to you.
