I asked if anyone would have any interest in reading this thing I wrote about drugs (I'm not finished btw) and there was a small interest, so here it is. Any feedback (specially stupid negative feedback) is welcome.

    Drugs, Their Source, and Extremes
    more specifically chemicals...

It is a human desire to crave anything and everything. Your fat grandmother and her cake, the stoner and his pipe, and the lover seeking just that, are all examples of this. Everything comes back to infinite craving of balance. Our brains constantly seek balance. We can't see what it wants specifically, that's where "we" come in. With everyone being different we find different stimuli to create this homeostasis.

Drugs are just chemicals in matter-form. Most drugs contain chemical analogues to ones already found naturally. "Drugs" is a term used of hate. People make a distinction between "drugs" and "medicine" when in reality they are just two words with the same meaning. When our brains have receptors specifically built to "process" substances discovered on this planet there is no argument against them at all.

Without these so called "drugs" humans would have a longing for this mental peace, and would have no outlet. We do need the state of mind where complete release of content molecules are rushed through our bloodstream. This makes us(humans) weak as hell. We are dependent. This bond between chemicals and humans is one where balance is sought, but can never be gained permanently. Every time our bodies get a taste of what perfection is we are quickly thrust back into this game of seek once again.

i think you did a really good job on it. if you plan on handing it in to a teacher or something, the only thing i would plan on changing is the "fat grandmother and cake" thing lmao the teacher might find it offensive

I'm out of school, so I only write for personal pleasure, and don't care to make anything formal. I dunno when I plan to complete it, or how long it will be, but maybe I just need to get high again and write haha.

This sounds decent, but loses focus and ends up sounding like a rambling drug addict (not saying you are, read on).
Stick to pure logic when proving points.
"This bong[d] between chemicals and humans is one where balance is sought, but can never be gained permanently. Every time our bodies get a taste of what perfection is we are quickly thrust back into this game of seek once again."
Perfection- not quite. I concider myself an "addict" (by societies standards) and far from perfection, but content. The only thing seperating addict and recreational user is the current laws today.
This "game" is life. You should not have to rely on drugs to play. Some of us do, so we try to get by as we can.

Oh ya it's definitely in a rambling form. On purpose. I do plan to clean it up and rearrange my thoughts in more of a point by point basis instead of random thoughts expounding on others and never really concluding what I think.

Also by certain words I mean different things, because words mean different things to everyone. "Perfection" was definitely a choosey word for that part, I could explain what I meant in detail, but I'll just save it for a spark(writing) that I get later on.

To me content and perfect are synonyms, but I do realize that this is not the case for everyone. Thanks for the replies!
