wow- these videos remind me how much I dislike miraclers. These people are scene-killers.

 

i gotta admit i couldnt sit threw the dead one,i jumped around an tried to find some nostalgia other than the egg rolls it was kinda lame..

i aint even touchin the phish one..

Dead lot by a mile and a half. Phish lots consisted of all the bad parts of the Dead lots, and only some of the good.

 

the very first thing on the phish video explained why that lot did suck. people who don't want to listen to phish, crowding up the lot selling shit and talking shit. if you don't like phish, do not come to the show or lot.

 

There was plenty of that with the Dead in the very early 90's. Hell as a matter of fact when I saw Phish for the first time in 1990 there were about 75 people there. The 'lot' had about 10 cars in it! Them were the days.

 

i feel ya, but sadly it decayed. there were spots in the lot that were amazing places that had great people. but there were so many rats just trying to sell there crap. if your not a phan, don't come. i just wish people would stay home and not crowd up the lot or show.

 

man fholks gotta make a livin an ya gotta go where the custie kids are.. you aint gotta like it,an trust me the festie kidz i know could give a fuck less if ya did.

there there for 1 reason an one reason only an that aint the band.. its to get as much of mommy an daddys money as possible outta lil jimmys pocket while making him think hes experiencing the event of a life time. so then he can go an tell his friends to bring plenty of cash for (insert desire) to the next show..

the parking lot has been about business as long as i can remember and i dont see it ending anytime soon.

I miss the lot, but I really hated working it. I much prefered "visiting" and being the consumer.

 

there is nothing wrong with selling stuff. but to just be a pusher taints the scene.

 

Whichever lot is the least wookified is my fav.....

 

There was a time that I worked the lot (or festies), every weekend. When I had the best shiznit in town it was a lot of fun. Now I work the weekdays and take my money to the lots / festies to spend on the weekends. Everything's round. Someone has to sell the shit, elsewise nobody would have any. And we can't have that!

i am down with the selling of all the goods. its awesome that the scene becomes its own little economy. but i don't like the people who just come to push there shit, get in fights and generally ruin the scene. my friends sell stuff all the time, but its too make it to the next show with a little extra cash in the pocket....

 

Phish lots weren't really that bad. It kinda sucked, but their was some kind shit.
