How many of you are building a snow shelter known as a Quinzhee this winter? I started to build one in my backyard. Can't wait to go sleep in there soon.
I've never heard of a quinzhee, can you tell me more about it? (I know, "google it" but it could be helpful for others who also haven't heard of it to have it explained right here.)
I guess it doesn't apply to anyone around here. You first need snow, so if you don't have real winters, with snow, during all winter time... not some lil'storms you can forget it. I've pretty much say it all by saying a "snow shelter"... It's a shelter... you guess it... in snow. Nothing to much complicated, you make a huge pile of snow and you dig yourself a home.
