I was just wondering if anyone out there has any horses? If so post a pic or two of your horsey and give a little description!!! Here is my horse! Her name is Blackie. She is a Tennessee Walker/Quarter Horse mix.. she is about 7 years old.. She is with foal and is due in Febraury of 2008. That is an older pic of her This is a more recent one.. Oh I just love horses. I don't have any currently, but I've had many in the past. I love me some Quarter Horses. Although, my fav mare ever was an Appy. She was such a dear With all the horses I've ridden, 100+, I've never ridden a gaited horse. They look fun.
gaited horses are so awesome! ive ridden an icelandic/paso fino and he was soooo smooth. i dont own but i ride several horses, only one of which i have pics of- thats Feliz, a six year old appendix qh. shes three or four in those pics, ive trained her since she was little, we kinda grew up and learned together. shes since been sold but i still ride her every week. i also ride a little qh/welsh (its more schooling him for his owner than riding for pleasure), an older appaloosa and a buckskin arab/qh. the list is always growing and it looks like ill be riding a paint/appy/percheron and a tall lanky palomino qh (an old friend who broke my collarbone. i still adore him though, it wasnt really his fault), ground training three bratty qh babies, and hopefully working with two delightful paint/belgian babies soon. hopefully ill be able to get my own horse within the next couple of years. my dream would be a canadian or icelandic cross. something tough and easy to keep and level headed. age doesnt matter as long as its got the right personality, if i find the right baby, i can always train it.

Ok, just 1 more. This is Madoz. He was/is the biggest goofball ever!!! His favorite past time was to cuddle. He HATED other horses and would prefer to sit with a person all day long.
All your horses are so beautiful!!!! Madoz reminds me of a horse my Dad's Girlfriend has... His name is Scooter.. He is a goofball too.. I love him.. He has a heart of gold. He is my favorite of all her (dad's girlfriend) horses.. Lol and she's got 7. My Dad's girlfriend has a mixed horse (not really sure what all she is), named Smokey, who is gaited. When you run with her and she breaks into that gait... it's like you are one with her.. It's such an awesome feeling. The little tobiano horse in my display pic is her daughter, Shicotah. (Shicotah is my sisters horse) I hope she is gaited like her mom... that would be awesome.
I thought I would post a few pics of my dad's girlfriends horses.. She has 7 in all, and is expecting one more.. Sorry :-( But she looks excatly like her mom in coloring, Sierra.. Except she doesn't have the Quarter Horse body, she has the Tennesee Walker body. (Kahlua's dad is Cloud)
