Ladies, Do you Wear Makeup?

I recently stopped wearing makeup after hearing on CNN news that the makeup companies are putting mercury in eye makeup, and it isn't even listed on the ingredients as mercury. Michigan is the first and only state to ban mercury in eye makeup. They just started doing it though, so it's probably still on the shelves there. So I was wondering do you ladies wear makeup, or not? Peace

I do where some make up. But its very limited and its mostly organic.

Yup. I like to see my body as a canvas, really. Decorating is one of the few things I enjoy in life.

 

I wear make up whenever I feel like putting it on lol.. But, I do not cake like layer upon layer upon layer like I see some women doing.. eww that just looks so disgusting. There's nothing worse than a woman who wears too much makeup. (in my opinion, of course) ​

 

I am trying to not wear it often, but when I do, I wear very little.

Bit of mascara and lipgloss on special occasions, I let my skin breathe otherwise, just a little bit of vaseline to stop my eyelashes looking spidery.

Only if it's a special occasion, and only a very little on my eyes.

 

No, never... I hate my skin, but I hate the idea of damaging it further with makeup and chemicals even more. I wish I didn't dye my hair either, but since I started growing it out is unbearable looking so I keep redying it.

 

I wear powder and gloss or lipstick. Sometimes, though not often, a little mascara. I think I look good without it, but I prefer to wear a little when I leave the house.

There's a difference between "enhancing" and "over-doing-it". Heaps of girls wear much more than they should and I think that makes them look cheap.

But I do think make-up can be beautiful.

 

i do wear make up, but not every day coz i'm too lazy to put it on every morrning, so i put it on usualy on weekends when i go out

 

Thanks for all the positive comments!!! I must say, it was hard the first day or two, because I've always worn makeup, and I felt naked and ugly without it. Maybe I'm just vain. But I think I'm going to be just fine not wearing makeup anymore. I'm think it's good to love yourself on the inside instead of your outside appearance. I will miss the fact that makeup hid my tired eyes though. LOL. Keep the comments coming. I am interested in what everyone thinks on this subject. Peace
