http://music-bloggers.blogspot.com Excuse my shameless self promotion. I've decided to start making my own music blogroll. I was inspired by the well known aggregators/lists: Totally Fuzzy, Mega Super Mammoth Mp3 Blog List, and XChannel. My only problem with their lists was that they aren't categorized, so tracking down a specific genre of music can be a tedious task. I've tried to include a bit of everything, but if there is anything you feel should be added to the list, please let me know. So far I have a few hundred music blogs on the list, and it is rapidly growing. I hope this blogroll better enables everyone to find the music they are looking for. Enjoy!
My favourite MP3 blogs are Dunkelheit (black / folk metal), Dumah (black metal, grindcore) and Garden of Delights (psych- and prog rock). You can add em if you want, dunno what kind of music you were looking for exactly.
Thank you httkb.. I'll check into those blogs and possibly add them to my list. I believe Garden of Delights is already on there. I've added a whole lot of blogs to the list since I first posted this, and it continues to grow almost daily. I'm looking for every type of music, not just the stuff I'm into, because the list is for everyone. So if you all would like to help me out please respond and let me know which music blogs you all visit.
If you're going for music of all kinds you should definitely add those two black metal blogs. They're very active, update every few days, sometimes even multiple times a day. That's more than you can say of Garden of Delights... I check them every day but only download a few albums per week... I'm pretty picky when it comes to black metal. Since Garden of Delights is going pretty slow, I'm going to check your blogroll (didn't know it was called that) for some nice psychrock blogs. Cool idea of you to do this, by the way...
Thanks once again. I'll add those two black metal blogs to my list tomorrow. Please let me know if any of you have any other suggestions. I've also added a new category for music sharing communities.
