Cold is a state of mind. Remember that if the current temperature was constant, you would not know it to be cold. The only time to see things as "cold" is when you could potentially die from it... I doubt your naked in below 0 temps So, do not feel warm, cold, or anything... just be.
cold is not a state of mind...same would be for heat. you get cold and heat injuries from being exposed to nature. you die if its too cold out and you stay there, no matter what you try to get your mind to think.
Thats my point - be aware of the cold, but don't let it get a hold of you. If its too cold to survive, it is as that point "cold". if your face melts, its "hot"... anything in between is perfectly A-ok. I can work in my freezing cold garage all night and be fine, why? Because I am concerned with the only concern that may concern me regarding temperature - freezing to death/overheating. If I'm not doing either, the world is a wonderful place
Try these: Lots of blankets, lots of layers of clothing, hot baths, turn up the heater, electric blanket, hot beverage, socks, a beanie... there are quite a few cures for cold and quite a few of these will land you right back into the mindset that it sucks to be hot. I mean, you know how crappy the summer is. Flies buzzing around you because you're all sweaty and gross, if you don't take a shower every day you feel disgusting, you have to be practically naked to be even moderately comfortable, you can't get super cozy under a blanket and wear 20 million layers of big, comfy clothing, sunburns are a bitch. Man, summer sucks.
no... I wish I did.... hmmmffff and don't want to sleep because Im really awake - plus my cat is going crazy and is running around the house so its too loud- also Im not allowed to take baths at my parents house because they think its a waste of energy- hence the no heat situation
yeah I might do that in a few minutes actually... wish I had a heater- my dad took them away- He is Bipolar and for some reason he enjoys pissing people off
its beyond cold before its too cold to survive. its a physiological state. your body responds to the cold/heat before it gets to the point where your survival is at risk
Those electric radiator heaters work well for single rooms. Not quick heat, but steady. About $40-50. Sometimes, if you call places like the Salvation Army, you can even get heaters for free. Churches and stuff will help you out too if you're needy. Learn to work the system. x
That sucks you can't take a shower. Wtf? You should have a drink, seriously. And smoke some dope if you're into that sort of thing. I find that always warms me up.
