I'm really looking forward to it this year... yes I do drink, but not heavily, and I leash my dogs. It's about respect for others.

I'll be there before it starts and I'll be there after it ends. I'll be mainlly at Front Gate to keep the Peace & express the Peace and of course to be "Welcoming Home" all of the Family. Make sure you introduce yourself and if those are your dogs in your signature, make sure you give them some Happy pills and have them leashed. LOL
    Loving You.

LOL I have four. They are all very sweet and mild mannered lol they were just playing there :) I do not leash them when I camp solo, as they do not run wildlife and are very obedient (one is a service/hearing dog for my deaf partner) but in a group camp I always do, and when I need a break they are in their crates in my "dog van" which is set up just for them. Not to worry... I'm one of those baggie carriying, organic food feeding, microchipping, clicker training, ultra responsible obsessive dog owners. Nothing ticks me off more than barking dogs, unleashed untrained dogs, people who don't pick up after their dogs, etc.

Please understand pholks, there will be Vision council held at Farles Prarire on Jan. 12-14, as is always held. The Rainbow Hammock Tribe has served this phamily well and with love for many years. The RHT continues to make the contacts that need to be made between phamily and forestry. They have not walked away. It's just gonna have to be some one else this year to take over much of what the RHT has offered. Many of our phamily will not be with us this year, not just the Rainbow Hammock Tribe. Also, much of the problem with our usual sites boils down to either Mother Nature's destruction or the Forestry Service's desire to take our green energy. We are naturally running out of sites in which to gather. Farles Prarire this past year was a healing gathering to restore the land after hurricane devestation. Syracuse Island is a likely choice for this year for many of the same reasons. We need the help of all (Road-Dogs, Travellers, Spunyons, Hippies migrating to Fl.) to be the shanti sena, to show respect to their elders, and become part of the solution, not the main problem. We love our brothers and sisters in A camp -- we give them space to gather -- that has been my vision for the last four years. Is that vision gone??? One road in, one road out immediately equals A-camp's spot??? I think not. Don't forget the vision that has made happier gatherings for all since Lake Mary. Come together Phamily, and come to gather -- with love, respect, and enough balls to pick up the slack!

    MAMA CHIME ...
Just a sigh? Just a sigh. That sigh has said everything. The inner voice that has no words but, only a language of the heart. It has spoken of all that is right and wrong, all of which we wish we could say in one post. Chime, that was beautiful.

    CHELE, HOW'S LOKEI DOING?
NO, RHT HAS NOT TURNED THEIR BACKS. CORRECT. BUDDHA OF A-CAMP RECENTLY BEAT A MAN HALF TO DEATH (LOOK IN TODAYS PAPER, RAINBOW IS MENTIONED ALOT) DAN AND DONNA SAID, "OCALA RAINBOW NEEDS RULES, DISCIPLINE AND STRUCTURE AND THE NAME SHOULD BE CHANGED. OCALA CAN'T HAVE THE FREEDOM BECAUSE OF TODAYS FRONT PAGE." THEY'RE LOOKING TO CHANGE IT MORE THAN ANYTHING. WE ESTABLISHED THEY HAVE COMMITED A MAJOR PART OF EVERY YEARS GATHERING. A WONDERFUL PART, AT THAT.

WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF SITES NOT BY A NATURAL EFFECT, THE FORESTRY IS TO BLAME FOR THE SEVEN YEAR RULE. (VOTE RON PAUL)

ONE WAY IN ... ONE WAY OUT. DOES A-CAMP NOT RESIDE AT FRONT GATE?
I, LIKE MANY, LOVE THE UNLOVABLE FOLLOWING UP UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. NO DISTASTE OR NEGATIVE ENERGY WAS BEING SENT TO YOUR A-CAMP FRIENDS MA MA CHELLE. SIMPLY STATING A POINT. IF SOMEONE WANTED TO COME OR GO WITHOUT BEING HASSLED.
READ CAREFULLY ... A HAPPIER, HAPPY GATHERING IS WHAT US, Road-Dogs, Travellers, Spunyons, Hippies migrating to Fl. ARE HOPING FOR. THING WILL BE JUST FINE, ASIDE FROM THE LOCALS ABSENSE. I'LL BE IN FL. IN ONE WEEK. BRING ON THE DUALITY!!!!!!
WILL YOU BE ATTENDING THE RHT PAID SITE OR THE GATHERING?
    :::::: WEEEEEEEEEEE LOOOOVE YOUUUUUU ::::::::::::::

I am not for unconditional love if violence is one of the conditions. Violence is NOT acceptable at a rainbow gathering. Violent acts are not acceptable at a Rainbow Gathering. Anyone who commits a violent act at a Rainbow Gathering should not be tollerated. You can choose to love a violent person unconditionaly, but they are not welcome at ANY rainbow gathering. Unconditionaly love violent people from afar, outside the Gathering. The Gathering is a place for Love and Peace., Yes even the parking lot at a Gathering is a place for peace and love, not violence!
I, as a member of RHT, would like to come back to a gathering that is totally, 100 percent for love and peace. Budda does not belong at a gathering, he belongs in jail. Please don't allow violent people to follow you to a gathering!!
Let's get some of our pot smoking brothers out of jail to make room for violent offenders!!!

This is Donna of the RHT. All I can say is WOW! I had no idea that deciding to take a private 2 week vacation in February this year would get such cyber space attention.
Yes, I know that it may have an impact on the gathering this year. However, my lack of attendence may actually be a good thing for the Family this year.
Newbies come to the gathering and do not know how to plug in because most of their needs are already provided for them. Each and every Family member needs to pitch in and teach the newbies how we do things together...as a Family.
It was never intended that 6 or 8 people take care of all the needs of 1000. The Rainbow Family in other parts of the country all pitch in and provide
scouting, drinking water, trash removal, CALM, contact with FS, Permit decisions when needed, main supply etc....and most of all they teach the new folks how it is done.
That has not been the case in Ocala for the last several years and the Family deperately needs to return to that way of doing things.
Much love and success with this years gathering.

Hi Momma Donna-i agree with u totally! Im a newbie...some might call me a rainbozo-cause im in school right now and not fully on the trail ! But last yr in ocala wasn't bad at all...besides, the fire and a couple of freakouts i thought it was a beautiful experience. I meet alot of ppl and a few looked to teach me the ways of do things, but im sure it wasn't like that for some of the other newbie's. i'll be at council this yr to learn more and help out as much as i can, but i think if the "rainbozos" were more educated about the ways things work then they would be such "drainbows"!

Even though im not the most experienced person in the ways of the rainbow-i give all my lil hippe bros & sis' i invite a copy of the rap101. I apperciate the wisdom of the older rainbows in this forum, but i dont think we (as ppl) should generalize, judge, bash ppl for their ignorance. Or even for who they are!(rainbozos or a-campers) THEY ARE FAMILY 2!
This is an experience that should be the total opposite of babylon. i enjoy the freedom of being amongst my family & outta babylon...all im saying is educate the next generation to make it better dont give it schwag nicknames!lol!

    Chardonnay,
It is a pleaseure to here such enthusiasm from a newbie (your not a rainbozo) however you ARE FAMILY the moment you enter the gathering with a peaceful loving heart. I have overly "plugged in" on my own hearts desire for several years and feel that it has caused others to step back. May bad.
A big part of what has me stepping out this year is the tolerance to violence at the gathering. There is NO PLACE in rainbow that should tolerate violence. Unfortunatly this is the case with some of our attendees who call themselves FAMILY. My heart just can't accept people who act violently or people who tolerate the violence anymore. To me, these people need to relook at themseves and what RAINBOW stands for and and decide if THEY are really FAMILY living the life that Rainbow has depicted for 33 years. I would love to see these individuals change their views and actions and cross over to the RAINBOW and become FAMILY. If you are not behaving and loving in the ways of the RAINBOW then you are merely a specator who still has a lot to learn to become FAMILY.
Arrive at a gathering with a bellybutton and a peaceful loving heart, open to share your joys and heartsong and commune in our church without walls instantaniously makes you real FAMILY in my heart....but then...I am one person with my opinion and desires for restoration of the Family as it was intended to be 33 years ago.
    Lovin you sister.

Please excuse my momentary off-topicness; I just wanted to say that it is so nice to see all this input from folks who are seemingly new to HipForums.

    Welcome Home! :D
