Do you travel on greyhound busses often? The reason I ask is that Im going to Las Vegas in Arpil for my bro's wedding but I really want to see California, and Ive really wanted to travel a long distance on a Greyhound bus :D. Are they expensive? Im from the UK by the way, my cousin was on one of those busses from like Alabama to New york all the way up the east coast and he said that there was some pretty scary folk on them at night, thats the reason I ask...

You might see some scary folk on the bus if you leave from NY to Las Vegas, basically it's all the same folk you get on with from NY, It takes about 2 to 3 days to get to Vegas, it costs around $250. bucks you can check out fares at Greyhound.com.
It's fun and you see all the sights and the bus stops about every 3 hrs to stretch your legs but you can get fatigued from riding all the long way and you'll wish you could get the hell off.
The ride from Vegas to LA costs about $30 bucks and is a pretty ride and is well worth seeing and there is not so many scary folk that far west, till you hit LA then you hit all the homeless at the bus depot, but there usually cool.
Unless you're feeling adventurous fly to Vegas and ride the bus to LA otherwise you'll get to tired from riding the bus.
I rode the buses for 10yrs. the good thing about buses is that they're cheaper than flying ( unless you get a special fare ) but they tire you out.
I dunno, I'd fly to Vegas and ride the bus to LA.
