My oldest cat at my parents house, Socks, died this afternoon. :bigcry:We had her for 10 years, since right before I turned 11. Her and the baby of the bunch (he's actually a 15 pound big cat...not really a baby, heh) had bad blood blisters in their ears and there's this nice old retired vet who does house calls, so he went by the house today and sedated them so he could drain the blisters and Socks just never woke up. I know this is RT and all, but I just have to vent how broken my heart is.
I've never in my entire life met a cat as human-like as Socks was. She was SO expressive with her emotions and moody, lol. She was the first cat we ever had and wow, she was definitely an experience.
Sory for your loss. My big cat Jake is getting on in years and my heart wil surely break when he goes.
sorry for the loss ramona i know how hard it is....i lost my cat a few years ago....he was the same age as me...thats how long i had him.
*pours ramona a drink and doesn't drug it* here hun, hugs...and i promise not to grope your ass mid hug
So sorry to hear that ramona By the sounds of things, you had many many fond memories of Socks. We're all here for you if you ever want a yarn.
that's terrible. We had a cat that we had to give away and i remember how torn up I was. You really get attached to pets...my cat, bennie, was my best friend.
lol, Socks was getting to this stage where she demanded attention about 70% of her day. She'd get in your lap, to hell with whatever you were doing, and start rubbing on you and purring. It was so funny. She actually pushed my brother's X-Box controller out of his hands for love just the other day. I really loved her.
