    Wow, excellent, far to short though. Started playing it again, this time as a renegade, take no crap bastard basicly. It's hard though, i can see myself changing already and it's subtle the way the game makes you think about your choices. Having played the game already I know there are some tough descisions to be made and I want to be the hard lined bastard, however when It comes to the crunch morally...I don't know what I will do....This game messes with your mind....

    I love Mass Effect just about as much as it can be loved, but I thought the "light-side/dark-side" system didn't really affect the game as much as it has in past Bioware games. In KOTOR, for example, your choices actually ended up deciding how powerful your force abilities were. It didn't even change how characters interacted with you, for the most part.
    On the other hand your alignment isn't a focus of the game like it was in KOTOR, so it's not something that really changes my opinion of the game. I definitely think it's one of the best I've ever played.
