TV use to cut off? That right I remember as a kid when tv would go off the air. After 1 am tv use to cut to snow for a couple hours in the early morning. Anybody else remeber that? Now tv never goes off, if they dont have new shows or re-runs to air they just air commericals, but not just normal commericals but 30 minute long commericals...
I remember. Especially since I grew up in Brazil. Shit, I remember when my parents first bought a colored TV with a remote control. I was ecstatic!

Me too, I would watch my cartoons way too early, and I would sneak so I could be by myself with no rules

We had a black and white TV until I was 4. Then we didn't have a TV for a while. I never did mind. When we did have a TV, it was only one channel until I was like 10. Then, it was lots of channels, but they were all in Spanish. Right now is the first time I ever have a TV in my room in my life. I rarely watch it (watch basketball and discovery shows about ants on it).
yea i remember. i put the tv on a shut off timer so it goes off at a certain time those commercials are annoying as all hell
when my parents got a big tv for our living room (27 inches of joy) i got a black and white tv for my room...i think it was like 14 inches
I gave up TV a while ago. But uh, vaguely. I always had cable as a tyke. They realized that it was better to put on girls going wild.
yes i remember clearly. They would play the national anthem and show clips of people saluting, then it would turn into color bars until morning
hell yea I do... those were the last fine days of TV. I've got an inkling that sleeping with the TV on gives ya subliminal messages now.
I do remember, though I have very vague memories of me watching tv. I was never a big fan. I preferred talking to my turtles.
