This Saturday at Club Vivid. Everyone is urged to wear white or light blue. I will be wearing black and red ;) would any of you do the white thing?

No way. There was a black and white martini night at my school, I had a little red dress.

I hate blending into the crowd. I'm a firm believer in peacock theory.

If a feathered boa, fuzzy bucket hat, big ass stunna shades and make up count as a costume then hell yeah!

I once went to a All White Party wearing All Black, it was unintentional though. I was dress and one of the people who I was going with said something like "cool, you are rebelling".. I was confused by this and then said it was probably going to happen anyway.

I'm too pasty to wear white so, No, and no red, yellow or orange either.

Wear what you like but if it was my club, I'd tell your rebelious ass to shove off somewhere else.

I've always wanted to get a white suit... I've also been too broke to do so.

The host will probably think you're an asshole. And morally, you're free riding.

If you're that desperate to get laid, then maybe it will work. But sex is a pretty shitty reason to do anything.

It does seem like a childish way to stand out. Winning a girl over by your personality and charm is a bit more noble. Yet, who really cares?

I've never used peacock theory to "get laid." I like to stand out and it's an easy ice breaker if a women so chooses to approach me.That's it. Clothes can't lead a conversation but, if it can help skip opening then why not? But I do agree that the promoter will probably think I'm an asshole. I better befriend him/her off top.

i wouldn't go to a club, especially one that is having a theme party, especially if that theme party or the club had a dress code. so no i wouldn't do the white thing

and a strict ass one at that. this is the email they sent me about dress code:

Jeans are allowed. No sneakers, baggy jeans, sports attire, gang

attire, sun glasses, "GRILLS", excessive bagginess.

Excessive bagginess refers to the bagginess of t shirts, collared shirts,

jeans, dress pants, no shirts may fall below groin area and pants must be

fitted at the ankles as well at the groin, no bunching. Dress shoes and collared shirts are a must.
