I don't drink, I don't smoke.. just do the ganja

People I've told I do the ganja seem weirded out that I don't drink but I do get high. Two people have told me already, and one of them kind of angry (cause I smoked at her house) "So...you put that shit in you, but you don't DRINK!?!?!?"

 

That's nice. I drink, but I don't smoke cigarettes. And I do smoke pot.

 

Ya, I love weed but am not a big fan of alcohol - I like my personality, so I don't want alcohol to change it. Weed's just a lot more mellow.
Also, on the societal level, alcohol doesn't really do any good imo (but for the record, if other people drink I don't have a problem with that, I respect others choices)

 

haha i tell people all the time " i dont do drugs, i just smoke weed" and i think its completly true. there is still no know deaths from smoking bud even the goverment agrees, you cant look it up on the FBI website haha. I have had so many bad things happen in my life from other people drinking and doing other hard drugs that it has taken any want to do them out of me, have you ever seen someone get drunk and kick the shit out of there little sister? i have and i bet you they would have never done it if they had been smoking bud....

 

yup same here...i dont care much for drinking and i hate cigarettes some people think its wierd but my whole family is ok with me smoking weed as long as i dont drink and smoke cigs

 

I smoke weed and do other psychedelics, but I don't drink alcohol. I get the same reaction all the time too haha.

I mean, dammit. that's a good point SBStoner. I mean, people have died because of alcohol, gone into ethylic comas, crashed cars, killed people. Alcohol changes who you are, and that is no way for me to have fun. Being dizzy, nauseous, stumbling, walking in zigzag, being extremely honest, etc. is not my way of having fun; though I do get very honest on weed.

Just last night I told this girl I smoked pot, and I told her about my experiences and everything, and still she says she prefers alcohol -- even though she's tried pot and she gets drunk at every party she goes to (or almost every).

 

I drink, smoke cigs, and smoke weed. But enjoy weed the most.

I take that back, I like a combination of 2 of any of those things.

cigs and drinking=great
pot and cigs=great
drinking and pot=great

All i have to say in defense of alcohol, is if you enjoy gettin rowdy every once in a while (big party, sports game, w/e) alcohol is the way to go

 

You're not the only like that qucr00x. I have never been one for drinking or smoking cigs, really.. but I do love to smoke me some weed =D ... ​

I wasn't that into drinking for a while. I thought pot was far superior, and I still do. There are some nice things about drinking though.

1. I actually find it easier to function on 1-2 beers than when I'm high. It's not so much the effects of the bud impairing me, it's that I have no desire to do anything other than listen to music and dance around when I'm high, whereas I can chill out with a beer while I write a paper or whatever.

2. Alcohol is readily available, 24/7

3. Good beer tastes really good

My new years resolution, though, is going to be to quit drinking for the entire year and only to smoke weed once or twice a week on Fridays and Saturdays. I am drinking at least a couple of beers almost every night right now, and that makes me very uncomfortable. Wish me luck guys.

 

I don't enjoy the feeling of being drunk anywhere near what I feel with being high, plus most of my drunk times have ended with vomiting and hangovers. But when there are lots of people around and it's beer(never had a hangover only from beer and the drunk doesn't seem to last as long as from liquor) then drunk is pretty fun. I find it extremely depressing to be drunk alone. Drunk and high at the same time, verrrry fun.

 

for me it's like this:
smoke dope: everyday
drink alcohol: once or twice a week (only on weekends)
roll: 1-3times a month
trip: whenever i can so sometimes it will be 5 times a month, and other times it will be once in a 3month time frame

 

Yeah man, I love to smoke weed, but I like alcohol more than weed. I don't think it's like wierd or anything to not to drink though.

 

Alright, i love my bud. I smoke it quite regularly, but i am for sure an alcoholic. Im drunk atleast 5 days out of the week. And when i say drunk i mean DRUNK. It''s not good, and i think about it quite a bit. But when theres alchohol around or if i can readily get it......i just can't stop myself. I usually wait until atleast 12PM except on sundays....i start at around 9AM while cutting/chopping/splitting wood. I don't drink to get trashed, to be honest, im not totally sure why i drink. Anywho, thats enough of that depressing story.

I smoke cigs, i drink alcohol, and i smoke the ganj.........nothing beats a good drinking and ganj smoking session.

 

One of the greatest benefits of pot is that it has no hangover. Hangovers is one of the reasons why I don't take alcohol.

 

All of the above for me, I dont drink to much but whenever i can get booze its gonna end up in my tummy!

I don't like mixing pot with alcohol much. A friend of mine that was drunk and did it said he got more nauseous than he was.

 

The other night I had had a few beers and several shots of Wild Turkey but for some reason I didn't feel drunk at all, just the slightest buzz... then I took a couple of hits from a joint, and all of a sudden I was wasted. The combo can put me over the edge sometime (but I guess that's kind of the point).
