LSD is a very powerful and complicated not to mention highly delicate substance. You must be extremely careful, even the raw materials used to synthesize it and extremely powerful. Ergot a fungus growing on rye, Hoffman's orignal synth material of starting...is known to make people go berserk. If you accidentally absorbed a crystal the size of your thumb into your skin on accident, thats 10,000-100,000 hits depending on purity of starting material.

LSD is a very complex underground "ritual" that has been abandoned by most chemists for obvious reasons. The stuff doesn't make money like dope, and its not addictive. Its also attempted man slaughter charges for just giving it to somebody. It takes a laboratory with very sophisticated equipment to manufacture pure LSD.

Myths:
Orange peels wont yield lysergic acid, yes you can get moldy acid from oranges, but thats not the same as ergot.

Truths:
You need a very well rounded background of knowledge in organic and inorganic chemistry to get set up. Even then, the lab equipment isn't easy to obtain.

If one were to find all the chemicals, and equipment, you still have to have a masters degree in chemistry to be even allowed to purchase the materials.

You could obtain ergot from natural sources, not sure how pure it would be, because you'd have to clean and steralize it. And if theres any microscopic contamination you could ruin your whole product from square one without knowing your wasting your time continuing the synth operation.

Youd want to buy lab USP grade chemicals, and solvents etc, even with the chemistry degree, the FEDS will still breathe down your neck and occasionally visit your house and ask to see your lab, and see what your upto.

i remember seeing somewhere that they were testing exactly IF hoffman could like he say even ingest the drug on accident through his skin or not. The people involved even went so far as to coat there entire arms with a layer of liquid LSD and never got any effect from it at all. ive had friend spill fairly large doses on themselfs and on there hands when dealing with liquids and not get any effect.

really though i know absolutly nothing about LSD in this area and how effective it is through the skin so dont quote me on it and i dont have a link hahaha. anybody else have any personal experience with soaking LSD up with your skin??

 

While I don't doubt that LSD is really hard for most to produce, I take issue with that quote. A crystal the size of my thumb? That's BIG! Of course it's going to be thousands and thousands of hits. Looks to me like that quote is trying to be sensational, but when you think about it, it's only logical. And how does one go about absorbing a crystal that size through their skin in the first place?

If you had a paper cut and some lsd got in the cut I'm sure that will do you in for one unexpected trip.

As LSD is encountered by the lay public it is highly unlikely to be absorbed (in significant quantities) transdermally. Back in the day when Hoffman was developing it, it was common practice for chemists to taste a chemical as part of the total characterization. Anyway the ability of a molecule to absorb through the skin is proportional to several variables. This includes hydrophobicity, molecular structure, charge, molecular weight, pressure, temperature, and individual skin biology. Some very good reasons not to attempt a synth is that it is hard, expensive, potentially dangerous.

 

if you get caught selling or giving away LSD you will be charged with attemped murder. a friend of mine got put in jail for 25 yrs in the 80's and although he is alot older now he won't make it. if you order all the chemicals needed you will be "watched" per say because they know the chemicals to make LSD same with DMT you can make it but yuo have to be careful maybe have other people oder different chemicals so your not stuck ordering all of them and then leaving it in the corner untill your finally in the clear. maybe im wrong. but about 89.778 percent sure im not, the laws dont change that much in 27 yrs without me hearing something about it in the news or from my dealer.

My friend synthesized 3 ounces of it last night.

 

As far as absorption through the skin... All I can tell you is that in 1970 (yes 1970) A friend came back to our after having been out to California... he told us he had a few hundred hits of "real Orange Sunshine' to sell, that he'd just scored days ago in Haight Asbury... Well, 'ole Squid bought a hundred. He dropped 2 hits and offered some to his partner. The partner would not take any, claiming his last bad trip made him swear off doing LSD ever again.... Squid started getting off really good, but really pretty intensely!!... An hour later Squid asked his friend to drive him around so he could sell some of the trip to friends.... When Squid met up with a few groups of people and began trying to count out hits and change money; he quickly figured out that he was way to high to deal with dealing... Squid dumped about 50-60 hits into his friends hand, and asked him to keep track of the stuff as Squid was too high to concentrate... About 15 min later, Squids' friend started yelling at him. Accusing him of 'dosing him', after he'd been told that his friend did not want to do any.... Squid kept on telling the guy he had not fed him any, put any in his beer etc.... Squids' friend handed Squid back the Acid, disgustedly.... As Squid reached out, he saw a bright orande stain all over his friends hand... (It was around 90 degrees F out and quite humid).... Squid instantly figured out that his friend had been getting off because he was holding all that 'CID!!!!! Squid and his friend ended up having a great time tripping out!!!! Squid says he is stone convinced that you can absorb enough Acid through the skin to get off; he's damn sure seen it happen first-hand............

hahaha where do people come up with this shit! of course its not easy, im no expert but i would think it would be harder then actually making the acid from scratch. it would involve turning to LSA (lysergic acid amide) back to just lysergic acid which would be an incredibly involved process i would think, THEN doing the LSD (d-lysergic acid diethylamide) synth normally from that. plus i would hate to think about how many seeds it would take to get enough lysergic acid from the finished product.

sorry dude just go by a 10 strip of acid or a packet of seeds

 

wow dude i wish i could get some of that stuff must of been crazily potent. ive layed my own sheets before at around 200-250ug each on slightly bigger blotters, with some very potent liquid.. i got my hands covered at one point not to mention we wasted about 7 or 8 hits trying to soak it up through our hands and we got no effects at all.

could be that only some people can reach effects from this way of administration. im sure loving the sound of some "orange sunshine"

 

well im thinking it might be easy because the 2 are closely related who says you have to change it from lysergic acid amide to lysergic acid and then start from the beggining i think it would be easy to make it lysergic acid and then add on the diethylamide and where did i get some crazy idea like this i got it from my head wich is more than i can say of you you think that its only possible to make it from the beggining of the synth ha if you already have the LS part then i think you could easily add the D to the end maybe if you have tried it then you could tell me its hard but your all about speculating negatively whilst i am speculating positively so try it out then tell me yes or no who knows maybe we will have a new way of easily synthesizing LSD you never know :talk2hand

All the chemicals being bought are completly legal and in no way restricted. The hard part about it is that it requires you to pippet micrograms into pill cases. lol Im not sure how practical that is though. But I think It can be done.

 

dude your being an idiot. LSD can not be sythesized by just adding diethylamide to lysergic acid, its a complicated involved process of REACTIONS to different shades of light and different chemicals ect ect. just because lsd is Lysergic Acid Diethylamide doesnt mean you can throw the too together and have a big bowl of acid, the acid chemist wouldnt be so rare otherwise.

your also forgeting that it would take EXTREMLY large amounts of morning glory or HBWR seeds just to get nearly enough lysergic acid once you have turned the LSA into just lysergic acid. of course then youd also be missing at least $10,000 worth of the lab equipment needed, AND every step in the process is critical and you could lose thousands of dollars worth of precursers for any small error that someone like you would obviously have.

i could keep going on and on about how many different reasons why this is impossible for you, but judging by your last post the actual facts about this kind of chemistry are flying right over your head.

 

Actually using ebay all the equipment needed would only cost $300 at most for the glassware. Theres no "specialized" equipment used to make cid, just special reagents wich can be purchased by almost anyone. sites like www.sciencelab.com let people buy chemicals.​

 

have you personally tested that recipe? its well known that the equipment needed in the real synthesis in LSD is quite expensive and not easy to get without the right connections (legal or illegal)

 

Im coming close to personally testing it. All the equipment the people used to make lsd was glassware and a vacuum pump thingy. I found the vacuum pump thing on ebay for $75 bucks.
