ugh i hate that fucking website, and maybe its my paranoia intuition but i dont trust all them damn myspace surveys either... lets face it, even if the conspiracies aren't true and the government isn't currently searching through peoples myspaces, the point is, they could if they wanted to. also i hear they use censorship and used viruses to get people to join. i use to have an unhealthy obsession with myspace but i deleted my account made a new one just to keep in touch.. and meh its not very appealing once u see it for what it really is. also its helping to make people socially retarded... lack of effective communication and so forth
that is disappointing. i'd bet everyone gets bored of it in a couple years though.. theyre running out of features haha
There are other web sites. They are like myspace too. Go to tagged, faceparty or facebook. Myspace is strange. I got an e mail from one girl. I didn’t know her. She said “Oh we should be friends. I’m on this web site. You should join it. We can talk there.” So I join the web site. I never heard from her again. Instead I got four more messages from strangers. I said to myself “This is wrong.”
ya myspace and all them have the ups and downs I personaly dont like them because of all the dramma. You get it in life anyway but its nice for it not to exsist in my home thats why i got rid of it. It was fucking up my computer as well. it would freez it up and such so yea good ridens!
I met some of my best friends over myspace. I would boycott this site before myspace. Ok ... that was pretty deep.
I stopped using myspace when news corp bought it. I don't support fox news, so why the fuck would I support myspace? I'm just saying that there's too many people who value their friend list over making a statement. I advance myself through the mediocrity of others, so in a way it makes me happy that there are so many lazy fucks in this world that are easy to guess what they'll do next.
no what i meant is, myspace can cause an unhealthy obsession.. i mean it really is a *good* tool to keep in touch with your friends, especially when ur just out of highschool. like me. basically the story is, i had mine for a good 2 1/2 years, was getting on it too much n it bothered me. so i deleted that one, i noticed i was getting on it less. n yeah i have one now but, its new. i dont get on it as much, less people on there to keep in touch with but still having a way to keep in touch... does that make sense? and at the same time, i wouldn't say no if they boycotted myspace. text messaging, myspace, things done when not face to face... what is it, 90% or so (the majority basically) of communication is through gestures and facial expressions, and its difficult to say what you really mean on the internet. someone told me this young generation is the "myspace generation". that's what they're calling it.. technology influenced is more like it... its concerning, that's all.
I think on the surface that myspace is all in what you use it for. But it IS a "human catalog" that is particularly telling as far as peoples personal "stuff". I think people post more personal info on that site than is probably a good idea...
Yeah it's nearly impossible to stay in touch with your friends with such crude instruments as email and cell phones. :uhoh2:
as one who ha never had a myspace account,id just like to ad 1 more reason to boycott it.. rupert murdoch.. so just remember if your anti conservative, anti capitalist, anti new world order or anti WTO,, youre helping to prop up one of the biggest players of the game in the world by using and therefore supporting myspace.
Aggreed myspace is for suckers and freaks, however I have one for my band. It's a good way to stay in touch with other bands and promo for shows. Never again will I get sucked into that shit though. The internet itself, as well as TV is really mind draning. But hey, the internet is a good thing that we use to our advantage.
