Badass. I had a dream about building a puzzle not too long ago. I should go out and get one. Do they still make those that you don't know what the picture will look like, so it's like 100 times more difficult? I used to have one as a kid, it was like 2000 pieces and it took us a couple of weekends to complete it.
i'm sure they do.. or worse they make puzzles of only one color. i think the original one is called "the purple dread" .. 1000 all purple nightmare of a puzzle they want me to put together the 1000 piece puzzle now.. i think they're just trying to trap me here!
I used to love doing puzzzles then covering them over with elmers glue. when the glue dried I'd hang them up on the wall hotwater
yeah.. puzzle glue.. good times. i'm beginning to wonder.. yesterday when i came home one of the roommies says "i tried to start that 500 piece puzzle but gave up after an hour." so of course my brain starts with the, "you can do that! 500 pieces! easy! you should start right now!" and i did.. about 27 hours later i was done... but i didn't sit for 27 hours.. might have only taken about 6 total.
I always liked puzzles growing up. My family used to always start one when it snowed and we would work on it as a family in the evenings. That was back when there were only two stations on the tv. I was really good at doing them. Maybe this winter if it snows I will purchase one and see if I still have the knack for it.
I always liked the IDEA of doing puzzles but when it came down to actually doing one I'd get so frustrated and impatient
cheating? how??? its harder to put it together from the backside, more challenging...........and yes you can flip it over. you just have to be ingenious........get a couple pieces of thin cardboard, slide it around the pieces and flip it around
