For some reason everything is shocking me. from metal objects to electronics. whats the cause of all this static. ive taken off my rather fuzzy sweat shirt and my socks yet it still happens. Its gotten to the point where Im afraid to use a light switch. Not all things shock me though. the keyboard/mouse arent shocking me, but the computer itself, and the computer speakers do (my thumb hurs from all the speaker shocks). just now a hole puncher shocked me. any ideas as to what in the world is causing all thsi static?
In the winter when the air is very dry it causes static electricity. Especially if you have a lot of electronics in your house. There is probably some kind of build up in the air at your house. Don't worry, it's been happening to me too!
