I've had these kind of dreams before, but I don't know what to call them. Here's what they're like:

I'm usually in a normal dream, not a nightmare or anything. Then, it clicks that I'm dreaming (this usually happens) and I try to wake up. I try a bunch of things, like sometimes I try closing my eyes tight, pushing, and sometimes I even try jumping off of something, that way the jolt wakes me up.

But with these dreams, they seem really long and seem to go on forever. I get scared like I'm not going to wakeup, and I panic. But eventually, I do wake up but I remember the dream clearly.

Anyone else have this kind of dream?

well i have dreams that are very experientially long fairly often. i'm generally in no hurry to leave them though. it's just not something i can even imagine why i would worry about in them. i did have that dream that began with an unusually long distance teleport that i was a bit worried about if or how i was ever really going to get back. but it turned out to be something i didn't really have to worry about. i had better friends then i beforehand realized in that place and i think if i had gotten stuck there some arraingements could and would have been made for me to have a place to sleep and get a job and so on.

as it turned out though, as soon as i did go to sleep, on the floor at one of those friend's houses, along with a bunch of the rest of us, i woke up at home in my own bed in this life.
