Yeah man, wait for the big puffy snowflakes to fall softly. And just be one with the snow.

There's nothing wrong with taking LSD in the winter, aslong as you have a warm place to go when its getting too cold to wander outside. I managed to pull of quite a walk in the cold night last night on LSD so it seems very well possible.
If you bring warm coats and other stuff going outside is as easy as any time of the year.

ive got this problem too because the visuals are much better in the sun shine too, i can imagine lighting a big fire somewhere in the snow and sit round it would be quite good. perhams a bit dangerous though if your really out of it.

I don't really enjoy being cold on it. I focus too much on it rather than opening my mind to things. However, watching snowfall while tripping is amazzzinng!

When I was a kid I used to have no house to trip in because of parents so I found myself walking around in the snow and the woods quite often. It never bothered me in the least bit (I dont mind being cold as it is thought) and in fact LSD always made me feel so free and so unafraid of the sensual stimuli and the auto responses. In fact at times I made it a point to sit in the snow and experience the freezing during a trip just to see how it would feel. (It felt great, by the way!)

Remember you can always make something funny of snow while on acid. ;)

Have somewhere warm to go. I had the most intense trip of my life on saturday and was outside when it started snowing. I didn't mind the cold as much as I usually would but it was Really really nice to have a nice warm room to hang out in when it just got too cold.

Freezing trips are nice also. Try to imagine few things and connect them with the vision of snow while outside - the effect will be awesome.

on saturday I went out while it was raining pretty hard, and the temperature couldn't have been much over 40 degrees, and with two hits, my hair and clothes soaked, I felt fine. More then fine actually.

Winter on a sunny day is a great time to trip. So sparkly and colorful [IMG] Also, I don't know if it's just my shitty insulation or what, but the jack frost patterns on all my apartment windows are amaaaaazzzing to look at trippin. Just found that out the other day :p

I do however, prefer to trip during the summer time. Nothing beats the color and depth of a beautiful summer day outdoors imo.

I think this is an amazing idea. I dont have too much experience but the winter is so beautiful, especially in places like Williamstown, MA where the snow, mountains and trees make the setting pure and beautiful. I hear there are really cool people up there too!

you should totally trip in the winter. its a different environment than the summer so you get a different feel. and that different feel can bring an awesome new experience.

I've had many acid/snow experiences. I remember the first. I thought I was Rocky. I tore off my Columbia jacket because I thought it was shallow, that I'd have to hide from cold. Hide from life ya know? I ran about three miles or so making the crunch sounds the snow makes into a sort of rhythm. I made was not cold once. The wind picked up and blew the snow sideways and I stood there feeling the snow pelt my face, melt, then drip down my neck. It was if all of it centered on me. All of the snow was aimed right at me. It came to me only to be melted away. So I got all deep and was imagining I was some sort of death to snow. The snow destroyer if you will. I remember after I got off my kick of killing snow, I felt sorry for it, and pleaded for it to find somewhere safer to fall. I looked to my left to see a big dog barking at me. I was not scared, I just realized he knew that I was killing the snow, and he was mad. I apologized to the dog, walked home. Had cocoa and sat by the fire which I find amazing. I reflected on how I was some sort of mass murderer of snow. Ahh acid, makes you and think some crazy stuff.

I did acid the other night in the snow and while it was snowing. It was AMAZING. I wasn't outside the whole time, but my friend and i walked up to the store listening to a techno version of jingle bells, the roads were covered in snow and looked like a big dance floor with all the christmas lights reflecting off of the street, words can't describe it. It was my best trip so far. It felt like we were the only ones like it was our world, and like we were in a giant snow globe. I guess everyone is different but I would recommend doing it in the snow!

winter trees are amazing on acid. they seem to branch off to infinity and you can feel their living presence. They are magnificant. sometimes acid warms you up a bit so the cold shouldn't be too bad, just wear sensible clothes and be careful you dont slip on any ice. Fires are good in winter if your outdoors too but again your co-ordination may not be great so be careful and do it in a place where you wont get in trouble for lighting a fire. Indoors can be nice too if you have some good music to listen to or do some artwork.
I think if your in the right mood its good any time of year.
