deciding what to buy

ok i have been using a lot latly and i have to decide what to buy next.
i have 2 choices
3 dubs of swag - $60
1 dub of nug - $50
(prices in Moorhead, MN)

i think i might get the swag just cuz of the fact you get 3x more and that i share a lot usualy so i want volume over potency. + swag still works for me about the same as nug as long as the hit is good so and thoughts/suggestions on what i should do with the money situation?

i make about $100 every 2 weeks + $15 a week allowence

 

why don't you just wait?

i don't know the quality of the nug, but i'd say go for potency over volume. you'd have less hits but a better high, and if you're sharing and are considering buying swag then you should start sharing with people who also have their own to share, imo.

 

well, how much is a "dub" exactly? I always opt for the best I can get, but money isn't really an issue with me. I could definitely see the shwagg suiting you better if you share a lot and if you're low on funds (and especially if you like to smoke more than once per day), and it sounds like that is the direction in which you're leaning.

 

i do hang out with people who have theres to share but its never givin back we take turns on whos stash we use. and swag is about mid quality and nug is high, i got swag one time that was really good and it was 80$ for i got it for 40$

how much weight is a dub exactly? ive never heard that term around here.
if the shwag is like mids and not like completely dirt weed then id say get that. its nice getting high quality stuff sometimes but usually if you can get more decent weed for just as much thats the better deal.

 

a dub is a 20 sack. you shouldnt pay 50 for that much ever. and you should be getting at least a quarter of "shwag" for 60

 

How does a dub come out to be $50? I thought it was clear that a dub of anything is going to cost $20... hence the name. Just it would be different quantities. Maybe they do it different in MN...

I'd go for the schwag if I were you. Especially since you like to share your bud. While it would be nice to be able to provide a blunt of highs for you and your friends... most don't have the means for that . Go for the schwag, should last you longer.

 

Oh yea, also what thc22 said. You shouldn't only be getting "3 dubs" of schwag for $60. As far as money goes, its the same price, but it should be more than just 3x the quantity of what you'd get for $20.

 

hmm that still doesnt really tell how much weight you should be getting. who ever your buying it from shouldnt sell 3 dubs at one time he should sell like a quarter or on the regular weight scale. around here 60 bucks gets a quarter ounce which is 7 grams of decent mids(usually 50). for an eighth ounce around here its like 30 bucks which is 3.5 grams(usually 25). if its really chronic good stuff then i would say 50 bucks for an eighth 3.5 grams. i know chronic sounds expencive but its hardly ever around here :\. usually i get more then these amounts so its a little cheaper but its still expencive.

i think that the scale for selling should be like this (prices are for my area)
dime bag $10 (gram or about 2 decent joints)
eighth $25 (3.5 grams)
quarter $50 (7 grams)
half $90 (14 grams)
ounce $150 (28 grams)
i think these are the amounts that weed should be universaly sold. the prices are different for every area but this should be the weight scale in my opinion.

If it is some schwag he really should be getting an ounce for 60$. For mids though, 60 should get him between a quarter and a half. A dub is not 3.5 grams, an 8th is. A dub is 20$ worth of weed.

its just minnesota terms, i live here and:

dime = half eighth = 1.8g = $25/30
dub = eighth = 3.5g =$50/60

and everyone knows that around here

i never say dime or dub i just use half eighth and eighth. but if someone asks for a dime or dub i know what they're talkin about and they know theyre gonna be gettin 1.8 or 3.5 for like 25/50 and not $10 or $20 worth. if you want 10/20 worth its called a 10-sack and a 20-sack. (this is in minnesota)

if its schwag and not mids you shouldn't have to pay much more than 60 for an ounce. so i would say get the eighth for $50 as long as its dank

 

when i lived in stl some of the ghetto kids would buy dubs but to them a dub was 4gs of any substance at whatever said price. Regional dialects that is all.
