Which Random Thinker would make the best president of the Earth?

so essentially you would have to relinquish all power, and thereby not actually be the ruler.

 

I would be the one making decisions with all of the world in mind, not myself.

Its just not feasable to have everyone in the world vote on something... I would expose myself to everyone's opinion, and my decision would include them.

My job wouldn't be very hard, because I would allow everyone to have freedom of choice. A ruler should be a peacekeeper, not a dictator... mediation is more productive than forced morals.

 

what you would basiclly end up with is a division of countries but everyone just coming back to you for the final say in important matters. and the way of life for the people would be based upon the laws set down by their local government. it would be impossible for one person to oversee everything.

 

We need someone who could be a "Philosopher King" like in Plato's Republic. Only a truely enlightened person can handle power without succumbing to corruption.

But like green faerie, I havent been here long enough to know who to nominate.

 

we should nominate each other and be co-rulers!

also, having both of us in power reduces the chances of the world being ruled by a woman with pms.

i was planning on running for president of the USA in 2012.. that'd be kinda the same thing since the US government thinks it's rules the world already!
