suburban unfortunately my preference is for either urban or rural - the wasteland that lies inbetween is truly disgusting to me for the most part.

I'm curious now. For the first couple years I was in very rural settings, its only been the past few months that I've been in suburbia - did the move change my posts?
The area that I live in is fairly rural, although there are several developments on the island that resemble the suburbs. Not my neighborhood, though. We're pretty much out in the woods.
I don't know what to call mine... I'm down the street about 1/2 mile from one of those big communities called Horseshoe Bend and about four minutes from a little strip mall town thing called Bellevue that is about 10 or 15 minutes from downtown.... but there's a farm across the street from me.... barn and donkey and everything included... So, I live really close to the city, but when you look out my window, you'd think we were way out in the country. Is that SubUral? Or Ruburban?
