One will be reincarnated as lunch, and the other, a paper.

I looked for a "luckyfoot" on the thread, and failing to find one, concluded, using
my nice brain, that you are referring to me. :)

Thanks. It took me a long time to learn that it isn't people who are lying to
you that are the problem. It's people who firmly believe nonsense. And
a billion people are as capable of believing nonsense as an individual is.

Never take _anyone's_ word for anything. Never accept a theory that
    is contradicted by your experience.

Especially, don't believe the people who tell you that you have no
inherent ability to perceive and understand the nature of reality on
    your own.

There! A big dose of Genuine Wisdom from my nice brain. :)

I'd save them. Don't ask why, but it'd seem right.

Maybe they'd learn something about human compassion. Who knows?

Of course. By treating them inhumanely you just lower yourself to their level.

But they only exist because people hire them, or the organizations they are a
    part of hire them.

Which proves that they are, in fact, at the level of the lawyers.

Ok, I know that the question that started this was just a joke not meant to be taken seriously but it has gotten so serious so…….

Here’s a rule of thumb that you can go by. What if the world was made up of people like you that had the same beliefs and acted the same as you, what kind of world would it be? While I believe that most of what has been said is true, the question is what should be done about it? In the 60’s and 70’s there were some who thought that blowing up buildings, robbing banks and leaving people to drown would bring peace and change the world for the better. But that only left the world with more destruction and drowning people.

So I ask, where do the world leaders generally get their power, from the people who give it to them one person at a time. That means that each person that takes his power back makes those leaders weaker. Each of us who sees the problems needs to shun this world system and use our power to make the world a place for “our children to grow free and strong”.

For instance look to Mahatma Gandhi, he didn’t rant, rave or rage against the system, he didn’t blow up buildings, he didn’t let people drown to change the world. He simply used some of the personal power, we all have, to change the world! I think that there’s still a lot of Gandhi’s in the world quietly changing the world without making a big fuss and getting noticed. I personally think we should join them.

So I guess my answer to the question is; He who saves one drowning man saves all mankind.
