like i said. Im not upset. I dont get upset anymore but when i see my friends 11 yr old sister in tears because of what her form (her whole form) is saying and doing to her then well yes i hate it all.

She has ermm problems and her sisters have to look after her (young carers) so i dunno... Happened to my other friend too and she had to move form because of it. Oh yeah and the teacher isnt doing anything about it...

seriously, i can't speak for anybody else, but i know i can commonly come off as a dick on here when i really don't mean any harm. i just have a strange sense of humor and i say whatever i find funny at the time even if it comes off as mean to people who don't understand that i don't mean anything by it. other times, i'll have a few beers in me, and i'll just get so frustrated by the ignorance that i have to lash out a bit

 

What the hell is 'form'? Is it like homeroom in the US?

i have been ridiculed since day one by people who not only don't know me, but they have no self respect or respect for other people.

The thickheaded ones are the ones who are trouble makers.

the one's with closed minds and closed hearts constantly ridicule those who are different than them.

we all need to accept others opinions and their right to say them, whether or not we agree or see eye to eye.
it's pathetic really, to think that these people have so little to do that they have to get their kicks bashing strangers.

I've noticed it's the younger generation that is more accepting, and the older generation is afraid to change

 

I think this forum is no different than the outside world, you would think that the name hipforums would attract a certain type of person but it attracts all types. Its good in a way but you just have to find parts of the forum that interest you...theres a lot of good people on here who dont feel they have to show off or down other folks.

 

Actually I think any forum IS different than the outside world, because folks can't see your face and you don't have to look into their eyes while you call them names. I think a lot of folks come here with anger in their hearts and actively try to cause arguments. If the forums were really indicitive of the outside world, then we are all in a lot of trouble!

Well, being a died-in-the-wool activist I am not one to back down from problems myself. If there is a problem that needs addressed I might turn up the volume a bit temporarily because I am not overly concerned with trying to be a "nice guy" when someone else is not. I have a habit of turning myself into a mirror so the other guy can see himself if he can, but only for a minute. My habit is to say my piece and be done with it, so if you see me telling someone off, be assured I'm doing it with kindness in my heart, and control over my emotions and once I've said what needs to be said, there is no reason to continue. I NEVER "get angry" or "loose my cool" and say or do things I don't mean, even if DO I say things people don't want to hear sometimes. I would say them to their face as well, and most likely with a smile on my face. Lord knows there are enough REAL things to be angry over in the REAL world if a person were disposed towards anger! I'm not hiding behind a computer, and I'm not looking for fights in real life OR here. But if a fight lands in my lap, I'm not afraid of it.
If everyone approached the forums like they would if we were all face to face, this would be a much nicer place.
