where can I get the seeds from? I live in wisconsin is there any shops that sell the seeds or the plant?
You won't find many seeds. A single seed is commonly sold for $100 or more over the Internet. The reason being: Salvia divinorum plants VERY rarely seed, and when they do, there aren't many seeds. Furthermore, seeds aren't even useful at all; growing salvia from a seed is equally as difficult as getting it to produce seeds. Salvia grows from leaf stems falling into the soil. Try and get a plant of your own or get a stem cutting, and then grow it from there. =)
Any Fellow hippys welling to help me out wit some seeds or stem leaves or what ever i need to grow this stuff?
I wish I could help you out, friend. However, I too am searching (half-heartedly, admittedly) for a salvia cutting to grow. You might try starting a search from sites such as iamshaman.com. They ought to have something, and if not, there is likely a link there to a place that would have clippings or seeds. =)
Last I ordered from them... like two weeks ago, www.Iamshaman.com had stem cuttings and plants for sale on their site. I don't know how long or how many of these plants they have, but if I recall correctly, they were like $25 a plant or less??? I'm not too sure at the moment, but I would go with that rather than go and try to get the damn thing to grow from a seed! Salvia as a plant in general can be quite difficult in the early stages of life, but once growing, it can be a relatively hardy plant that will bring much pride to a good gardener. I've never grown Salvia at my place or anything, but I was a professional landscaper and garden designer before I came to college, so I kinda know my shit to a degree... there's still a lot to learn though. -Peace ~Mac
go to www.hemcy.com, they have good strains there, and you get 12 seeds for pretty good prices. ive never ordered any only b/c im broke, but its pretty good compared to all the other prices at other sites... or you can probably find some seeds in schwag
I recently bought a Salvia plant, but it is too young for me to take a cutting from it. But once it gets a little older, I'd be happy plant a one from a cutting and ship it to you for just the cost of materials.
