Going down all these hills in what is practically a sheet of black ice covered by some snow... You'd think they would put salt on the roads... but.. noooo... that would obviously be too difficult. And now I'll have to be all worried about my husband driving what is usually a 45 min. drive to work for third shift tonight.... accidents everywhere.... Fuck this shit.
That has happened to me lotsa times! I think it is better for them to be annoyed than for someone to get hurt.
Yep... that's what I was telling myself as I flipped up my mirror (so I could still see them but the lights weren't so bright) and tried to ignore... I mean I heard on the radio on just two highways in the area there are 25 accidents and I went slipping around quite a few times so no way I was going faster... haha.
Reminds me of my Sunday drive home... left a friend's house just as some freezing rain got started. Folks were annoyed with my driving too- they zipped past doing regular highway speed. I got to see easily a dozen accidents on the way. Normally a 20-25 minute drive too well over an hour. When I got home there was enough ice where I could barely walk on the pavement.
I will drive my yaris at 15mph on the highway while you fly by in your suv and crash into a wall. I will also laugh at your dumass while I swerve around you and make it home. True story, actually about 5 true stories. Sometimes I think these accidents are just presents to good hearted positive karma'd body shops.... and coal to idiots that think their gas guzzler 4wd is invincible... thank you santa I'm happy with that this year, no need to deliver a 60" plasma...
Kudos for having patience. For me the reward is to see those idiots crash into a light pole... then get out and act like they had no idea taking a turn at 30mph through an icy intersection was impossible (HEYO I GOTS DA FO WEELS DIVE!!!!!)... priceless
Yeah... I have seen many of the SUV's and the like crashed on the side of the road- just as I've often seen many of them speeding past me. It is rather funny.
