Social life?

well im usually on here when Im stoned.....and when my gf is off doing something I don't want to do with her, like watching football. I'm not on for long periods of time, so I don't equate being on here with being out socializing.

 

I come on here during breaks at work to discuss psychedelics, God, and music with people who feel the same. Not many of us live in close proximity lol :tongue:

 

Eh. I don't really worry about it so much.

I wish I were a little more social sometimes, but I'm getting better at it.

 

I should be studying.

 

im on here because i'm stuck at home 95% of the time and haven't made any friends since i moved. i also have no car or license. but hopefully i'll be getting a job soon and will have more chances to meet people.

 

I go on forums as an attempt to have a social life. I have no social life in "real life", and not really one on here either.

I am a bad communicator, terrible at making friends.

 

i'm on here because i like the diversity and all the interesting posts. i sort of hibernate in winter and don't do much apart from work and sleep, so here is a good place to come and avoid stuff.

 

Well some of my best friends are on here... out of two in particular that I see pretty often, one I've known way before she came to the forums and one I met here... Anyways I spent time here when I'm bored or don't wanna go out but I'd say I see friends typically a few times a week and have time to spend on here... then again, once I start my job on Thurs... that may be changing...

this is a social environment, i chat with all sorts of people on here
but, i'd much rather be out and talking with people in person
i'd love to meet the forumers in person some day
i love being social, i'm a little social butterfly and i hang out with alot of different crowds to try and be diverse
i'm open to hanging out with anyone, hookers, crackheads, murders, drug dealers, etc


i plan on going out to poetry night tonight

 

I'm on here because there's hardly ever a time where both I and any of my friends can go out. Plus you guys are awesome.

 

I'm on here during my work day... lol. I got an accounting job that is mindnumbingly boring, typing numbers all freakin day. If I didn't have the forums, I'd lose my mind fo sho! Er... wait a minute - too late.

Plus I really like the friends I have made on here!

 

I have a great social life, lots of hobbies, and a million ideas.

This forum is just another branch of my social life.

 

I simply come here to pass the time, or to procrasinate when im supposed to be writing a paper or something.

i live in a small town, i know everyone. i cant even walk to the corner store without having to "socialize" with like 10 people. so beleive me.. my day is full of socializing!!

plus theres always like a million people at my house, often sitting in my living room watching tv or passing a joint whilst i am sitting on the hipforums being anti-social.

 

I come to hipforums because since Im such a loser and cant even get real drugs, I start to feel high if I stare at a computer screen for hours on end, and what better substance with which to stare at than this forum? I cant imagine anything better? Anyone?

 

well interesting and good people are hard to come by in my life, so i come here and discuss things. i dunno in my stay here i have changed quete alot as a person, and learned sooooo much. its not as much socialising but learning on issues you enjoy, with people who like same things gathered from the whole world, many oppinions etc.

 

You answered your question in your post.

Instead of making that post, you should have gone out and experienced the world... you knew the answer before you posted.

its a matter of following your "instinct".

People here are cool, I've been to many forums and most of them were with bad/immature people. This is not the case here and the boards are interesting.

 

I really should be studying. I have the day off work tomorrow, so I'm totally procrastinating by being on these forums. I usually don't spend much time here. I usually post here, when I'm home by myself and feel like taking my mind off whatever is going on in my life.

I get out. I recently started posting in this forum again.

 

i have a great social life, but i do have a large part of my time that i have at home, and its nice to talk to people online and make new friends and discuss topics. I go to a site where i talk to moms that have the same problems i have, and i am also a myspacer, where i talk to other paranormal groups and arrange meetings, interviews, investigations, answer peoples questions, etc. but i still go out! i dont have a job right now, so im on here alot more. but im going back out there tommorow to search for one, so soon i wont be on here as much. but ive made some really great friends on hipforums. and i plan on meeting some in person. and we send eachother things in the mail , its nice. doesnt mean im a hermit! lol
