    STREET FIGHTER!!! Gouki is fuckin sick in StreetFighter 2 Turbo. Vega is pretty kickass to.

    Generally I prefer MK series but it hardly depends which SF or MK I'm trying to compare. For example SF3A0 is better for me than MK4 which is crap.

    Both are classics, but i must say when the N64 came out and i played Mk Trilogy. That game was the first that got me hooked. I ended up gettin a 64 again just for that. Then i got more games, some classics will never die.

    okay... the only time i had both of those games it'd have to be for Sega Genesis...and I'd have to say MK takes the cake. GET OVAAAA HERREEE!! Scorpio was the MAN! And street fighter used to get a lil boring after a while (guess it wasn't gory enough). I mean, dont get me wrong, I loved both games... just prefer MK.

    ah... hahah nice topic...
    well dunno they were both really awesome I must say...
    I think I got into MK a little bit more... favourite chatacter used to be scorpion.. "Get over here!" haha...
    Never owned any of the two games untill Playstation one actaully came out... so before that I spent fortunes on coins to play them in arcades :p

    Street fighter all the way!! Mortal Kombat was good for the finishing moves, but I think street fighter was a more enjoyable game by far. Screens for the new Street Fighter look awesome too!

    MK for the pure fact that i could never get into SF, i just couldnt fight in SF, but i OWNED!!!!!!! in MK

    Street Fighter 2 was more cartoonish to me than Mortal Kombat. I had both but i liked MK better.

    Haha I absolutely have to go with MK on this one. MK2 was the all time best, followed by Trilogy, and my two favorite fighters were Smoke and Subzero. I got MK2 on my 10th birthday party and my friends and I stayed up all night trying to unlock all the secrets, some of which to this day we believe might be hidden somewhere in the game.

    I remember the first time I fought Noob Saibot, and the elusive Dan Forden popup, toastie! :D I just LOVE MK! :)

    street fighter definitely for me. there was more finesse somehow.. I really liked guile and ryu... or blanka... haha great game!

    although lui kang or raiden and of course scorpion were all kick ass.
