Anyone ever been? Was just wondering because I've been once and I want to say "don't knock it until you've tried it". Being into predominantly metal and punk, I was sceptical about going somewhere as chavvy as this. From the outside, it's quite intimadating with all the chavs and broken glass but once inside, you realise security is well managed and EVERYONE is nice to you (mainly because everyone is rolling, but that's part of the fun!). To anyone thinking about going, just try it ... wear a big smile, shake a few hands and dance like a complete arse ... you might just like it! lol
I'm surprised it's still going. I went there once many years ago. Do they still bang out mainly northern soul?
Glad to hear it. Or in the case of n.soul, not hear it... Wigan used to be a legend in the old days - pre-rave music that is.
