From the makers of The 40 year old virgin I was expecting better... the 40 year old virgin was funny... rated-R funny yet I can see myself watching it again and again... 40 year old was a more feel good type comedy. Knocked Up?? I really cant see myself watching it again, mostly because of the horrible dialogue and fucking overacting. There were some slight giggles mostly from the fat dude that freaked out about pubes in the bathroom, but the rest of it was either depressing, disgusting, or just overdone... Like that vegas hotel scene when they are freaking out on shrooms had such horribly overacting, it was probably one of the most mind numbing experiences I have ever encountered in a comedy... Only thing that was decent was that Heigl started off the movie insanely hot, but the whole crowning part and horrible mood swing acting parts turned me flacid pretty quick.. I'm just glad it came in a 2 for 1 pack with Accepted that I thought was pretty funny. *Neesch*
wow, i agree. i would never watch knocked again. it had like 3 funny lines and the rest of the movie was crap. it turned into a chick movie
Oh man I loved that movie, Love Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, Thats probably why but also I think it was very funny!
I actually thought it was pretty funny, but only cuz Seth Rogan's character reminded me of a buddy of mine who did in fact knock his girlfriend up. Needless to say, my friend was not a big fan of the movie.
I didn't think it sucked but it wasn't as great as the reviews said it was either. I liked The 40 Year Old Virgin better.
me and my friends liked it, though the giveing birth part was a bit much i cant belive they showed that.
i hope its not a romantic comedy like Wedding Crashers....that movie starts out good then turns all Youve Got Mail on you...If this movie is anything like that im not even gonna watch it. ACCEPTED. Now thats a funny movie. That crazy guy that is the cook is hilarious. "WHAT?!?! im working with some very powerful herbs!!!"
I thought it was funny...but I tend to laugh easliy at just about anything! and if the thing isn't funny it'll remind me of something that is! and I agree with jacob, accepted was pretty funny too...
I've just finished watching it, and I liked it. However, I was confused over it's genre. Sometimes it was funny(even crude), sometimes it was serious and intense.
I enjoyed the movie.. but I could see where other people wouldn't. It was a bit crude and had some slow spots. But all in all I thought it was a pretty decent watch. ryv
