The first time I ever tripped LSD, my plans failed and I had to go home, right after my peak. It was around 11 at night, so I figured everyone would be asleep, but I forgot my brother came home to visit from california, and he came home right before I got home.

I was with friends, they weren't tripping, but I had to speak with my parents and my brother, for a good ten minutes. My friends said I acted perfectly straight, I was tripping so bad that my insides were twisting because I was freaking out, but I kept my cool.

I don't know about everyone, but I could do it, but I don't ever want too again it's a horrible feeling.

It really affects you differently the more you do it and the older you get. I'm much more prone these days to go into fits of unprovoked hysterical laughter, especially right after a show when everything starts to get quiet and I look around at everyone.

    Did you try it yet?

Remember it lasts 8-12 hours and takes up to 2 hours to kick in. So give yourself some time. Dont give yourself 4 hours and then expect to be able to sleep. Take it atleast 12 hours before you plan to sleep.

Also after please come back here and tell us how it was. :)

Come.together, I hate to disagree with you because we had an amazing chat the other night, but I have to say that there are some definite cons which you will see if you trip more

I think evil's response is pretty good myself, though I think you see who you really arent at first, seeing who you really are is something that is always subject to your according reactions to the winds of adversity. -

Excellent point. Seeing who you aren't is a much better way of putting it, and then you slowly begin to construct yourself from that. At least in my experience.

And when the flying monkeys descend from the skies and take you away to that place where the eternal music rings, in perpetual and persistent search of a higher purpose and a higher understanding, you will be in aw of the sheer beauty emanating from all that exists around you.
And on that day when your fate-filled journey ends, you will be reunited with every spirit and every being as one unfathomable and infallible force, singing, what you will realize is not in search, but in joyful proclamation of the beauty in life.

    1. I didn't like weed until I tried LSD. Weed before hand seemed pointless, in a sense of effectiveness. I guess now I say both experiences are similar, but weed is definitely less disorienting, and I can find myself manageable on weed. I don't get any warm feelings on weed, it's all mental. One thing that seems to stick out the most is that weed definitely takes on the effects of ego-loss when I mess with the strains known for having considerably more THC, like anything past `mids`. If I smoke a half a joint of haze, or a whole joint of dro, moments can seem animated / cartoonish (aswell as visually), and almost like the world is missing some sort of dimension for understanding the situations I'm in (dimensions that must be so common, you didn't know you could lose them).

    2. If you start freaking out you will need some alone time, or somebody who has a grip on reality to help give you some senseable thoughts and understanding. When you do start becoming use to the trippy feelings exposed by LSD (if you decide to trip again after your first experience), you will notice that most of the time it really is just yourself ruining the experience. Any lingering worries, something very small and unprobable of happening, can start getting to you more and more. Usually the best way is to just try and remember (not that people usually forget, but the people who freak out sometimes do), that you are on LSD, and any worries you may have, realize that they are because of the drug (unless they might actually happen). The key to having a bad trip is realizing that a bad trip can happen. Another key to having a bad trip would to be unexpecting of any crazy feelings you may have, (ofc. you wouldnt be able to fully expect any of the characteristics of what feelings may arrise), but setting aside 12 hours of the day where you have literally nothing to do but trip would be the smartest approach. That way, at least in the back of your head, you can realize you have all the time you need for any feelings you have to pass.. But honestly, it's better to just expect that you will enjoy EVERY second! Because then you usually do, and the trip is so much more amazing.

Approaching how-to-trip shouldn't be approached in a manner where, you feel like you are trying to accomplish having an experience that usually is negative..

Though even just a regular trip, not good or bad, can be a little bit of both, but just as amazing and rewarding.

    About Pro's/Con's?

I honestly don't know why everybody acts like LSD will have some crazy effect on your life where you are some totally different wacked out person (but in a good way, right?). Usually, the worst thing (but definitely not the only thing) that happens in a bad trip, is something that causes guilt can start shining, and you feel horrible. And since on LSD (for me), I tend to overthink, and magnify the horrible feelings.

Most of the time the only profound idea's I have on a trip, are simple morals which are both optimistic and sort of like replenishing (to make life seem less dry, as I am generally bored), but usually it's only sort-of an afterglow idea I have after my mental state returns to normal (to anyone who uses LSD, thoughts that kind of make you feel grounded to the world's reality, and not the one you are stuck in temporarily). Usually the other things that screws my experience is the way I do LSD... in positions where I probably shouldn't, but boredom overrides any of the worries I have when I take it, but not while it's happening.. lol. The feelings brought up by LSD can definitely be secondary when you start using a bit more frequently. Almost like, you can dive into the experience if you feel like it.. (while you are on it), but then this always totally dies out if I don't use for a few weeks / months straight, because then my trip is mind-bending again, whether I want it to be or not.

Honestly, I'd just say go into the trip thinking you won't have to act sober for anybody. Usually makes the experience a bit more rewarding, but obviously keep your common sense as much as you can.. don't do something dumb just because it may feel like there is some sort of exception for yourself.

But tbh it is fun to be tripping in public, lol. Aslong as you aren't going to get arrested..
