The inability of humans to digest cellulose makes them very inefficient herbivores. Specialization of diet is a major factor in previous large scale extinctions of animals, when climate changed. The ability for humans to eat a variety of plants or animals is an advantage in longer time frames, in terms of survivability of the species.

I think if it has to be all about REALITY which most things are,

It's not what you eat that hurts you so much as what the food is TREATED with, or GROWN with. I DESPISE store bought meat, but eat it if it's in front of me because I figure if I'm very healthy, a little poison won't hurt me too much. Store bought meat is full of hormones, steroids, insect poison, and antibiotics. I know how it works, I have been a farmer for my whole life. And being a farmer AND a realist, I would say that drinking the milk from cows is PROBABLY a fine thing. Think about it. Modern day DAIRY cattle have NO place in the evolutionary chain, really. They have been bred umpteen thousand years SPECIFICALLY to produce milk for HUMAN consumption. They couldn't even survive without HUMANS to take care of them. Those who think that somehow it is cruel to the cows or that the baby calves will somehow starve to death don't have a CLUE. One dairy cow will produce WAY MORE MILK than her calf can POSSIBLY consume. It would be cruel and unhealthy for the cow if you did NOT milk it!

So, humans have been consuming milk (cow, goat, camel, horse, and more) for thousands of years. I'd say we are probably well equipped to handle that. Meat too.

I think it's a lot more important for HEALTH to consume NATURAL, ORGANIC, and LOCAL as much as possible.

Having children is WAY worse for the environment than eating meat.

I eat meat, but I'm not particularly proud of the fact. I would like a strict licensing system to allow duly inspected farms to proclaim "produced by free ranging chickens" or the equivalent for other species. That way I could support humane farming practices with my wallet.

At one time I walked to work each day past a chicken slaughtering plant. Outside it there was always a flatbed loaded with live chickens in tiny cages. I mentioned the cruelty of this to a friend, and he said, "They've probably lived their whole lives in those cages or similar ones." That made me sick.

There's a website, www.furcouncil.com, that ought to spoil your day if you're feeling good. They promote furs as a sustainable, "green" resource in spite of the fact that each coat made requires the slaughter of a dozen or more innocent wild animals such as mink or fox. Their ad campaigns use sex to sell murder.

    Meat diet here!
    My blood type is O+!
The diet is based on your blood type.
Blood types developed during the ice ages as the types of men we call races. A blood type should eat fish, B type should eat grain. O is specialized in meet diet…
    It is only nature…
Northern Europeans and Native Americans are O type, because their culture is based on hunting….
A were based on the ocean and sea eating large amount of fish…
B type is from middle east and the places where crops was cultivated….

I read into the blood-type theory and even purchased a book on it. Although I do think that blood-types can develop in some degree in terms of the history of diet...but I've read multiple doctor reactions that refute that book...not much of a justification in my opinion.

Blood types are different… 'Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored'
    Period.
As some people have sickle cell adoption against malaria.
    Ways of evolutionary development…
    Not just the culture…

Well I was vegetarian for a while, in fact vegan for a while too. I'm not now though, but I do eat meat sparingly and am trying to encourage my girlfriend to cut down.

During the war, us Brits apparently were limited to meat on sundays, and it was the healthiest the nation has ever been. I think trying to aim in that direction is laudable, but I wouldn't stop eating meat altogether. I love bacon too much.

I knew a guy that was trying to make his own dog a vegetarian…

Thinking of plants – does anybody thinks about how they are eaten alive? Cut to pieces and furthermore their wounds are juiced with lemon?
Did you ever tried to put lemon juice/vinegar on your wound?

Any fucking thing with fangs is meant to eat meat, thats the way it is. I guess we could be more humane with our means of getting the meat, but we must eat meat.
