This happens to me a lot too... except I usually don't say anything...my friends think i'm crazy enough as it is.
I've yet to decide for sure if I really did dream the thing that happened, or if seeing it happen caused me to subconsciously beleive that I dreamed it (almost like just planting the memory - my memory of the dream is always very vague).
Also, i rarely remember my dreams when I wake up. But, I'll sometimes confuse waking life with dreams. That is, I'll remember something happening (like a part of a conversation with someone I know) and I'll have trouble figuring out if it was real or a dream.
I'm sure this is somehow related to my deja vus. Do similar things happen to you?

doesn't it happen to just about everyone? i thought it did. maybe not so much all the time, but pretty much often enough. if your friends have a problem with it happening to you, maybe their just paranoid of their own experience of it, that or there their own problem.

At least you now know what dejavu really is; a lot of people don't make the connection between dreaming and seeing it later.
