Something dark keeps following me.

When I was younger, I went through a rebellious "goth" stage. I listened to Rob Zombie, used Ouija (sp?) boards, and was overall a dark person. I cannot say for sure, but I think that my behavior welcomed dark spirits into my home. My mother and I had very odd experiences that left us frightened, to say the least.

My mom was in her bedroom, and my little sisters had fallen asleep in the living room on the couches. She was expecting them to crawl in bed with her, as they sometimes do when they wake up. She was drifting off to sleep when she felt a pressure on the bed and on the side of her leg, like someone was crawling from the bottom to where she was. She thought it was one of my sisters. However, after a few seconds, no one had snuggled in beside her. In the morning, my sisters were still in the living room, on the couches.

One time, I was in my bedroom, about to go to sleep. I was sortof catnapping when I felt a shadow pass in front of my bedroom window. I was trying to see through the dark, to see if the form was outside my window or inside my room, when I realized that it was inside. I didn't say anything, or move...I closed my eyes and stopped breathing. Then, to my dismay, whatever it was came to sit on the side of my bed. The pressure was great and made me roll towards the shadow, so I hooked my foot between my bed and the wall so I wouldn't touch it. I prayed for a while, and it went away.

We've moved since then, but we still experience things. My friends have had their shirts tugged on when they walk down the hallway..and my mom has heard scratches on her door at night. My aunt and uncle's dog refuses to go into the third bathroom in the hallway, that leads to the backyard, unless the back door is open so she can run through. Otherwise, she sits there, looks around the bathroom, and growls. We've all heard noises, such as someone walking around in a room directly behind or in front of us..and once, my friend and I heard a woman singing. It has followed us from our old house to my mother's new house...and when I moved out with a friend for a while, it was at my apartment. Now I'm living with my mother again, because I'm having surgery soon, and it is here. It is a very negative energy and I've been living with it for years.

If I pray, or say "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus"...it backs off, most of the time. But I want it gone for GOOD. This may sound fabricated, but my mother is a die-hard skeptic and even SHE believes it..she's seen/heard it. Can anyone help me with this?

My friends and i certainly freaked ourselves out with the Quija when we were younger. A girlfriend of mine firmly believed she allowed a dark spirit into her home from using the quija board as well. I've never known what to make of those things...we used to use them a lot as adolescents, and I know for a fact that I never moved the thing, yet it always did move, no matter who i was usng it with.


I have experienced ghosts before, so i absolutely beleive that its possible for something like this to happen.

 

Yeah, I used to think Ouija boards were crap until all of that happened. And I used to think it was a ghost too, but it feels more like a demon or something. Its just a really negative being that won't leave me the hell alone.

 

This being is drawn to your sexual energy. You need to make sure you are not leaking clouds of desire... for this is an invitation. Honor your body and any relationship you may be in. Intimacy is real magic... do not treat it lightly. This is where you need to invite the holy spirit. Reclaim your innocence by kindness to all you encounter. It will help to have an elder to speak with, in person. Seek the one you feel is right within your chosen spiritual path. You need to be able to reveal what you feel is dark in yourself to this one... a cleansing will then happen.

 

My mother had a Quija board when she was young. When she began learning about God she decided for herself that the Quija board was something she did not want around anymore because she believed that it invited demons into her home. (for the record she also believes that all ghosts or spirits are also demons) So she threw the board in the garbage outside to be picked up by the garbage truck in the morning. Well the next morning the board was laid out in her living room like someone had been playing it.....but no one had touched it. So she threw it out again to be picked up on garbage day.....and again it showed back up in the living room all laid out. It did that again twice when she tried to throw it away again, even throwing it in the neighbors garbage can.....anyway, she eventually burned it and that is how she did away with it. I dont know much myself about spirits or that type of thing....But I do know people that have delt with it. My advice to you would be to pray to God (if you believe in God) and pray that help you with this problem. Actually I knew a woman who was into magic and witchcraft and she spoke to spirits and all that....well, she started having a bible study and every time the man would come over for bible study the spirits would get angry and throw things around the room and scratch the woman and all kinds of things. She stuck with her bible study and stopped doing witchcraft and kept on praying and eventually the spirits left her alone. Like I said, I dont know much about religion myself, or spirits or anything related to that....but from what I have heard from others Ive known....praying has helped their situations. Here is my advice; ( and I have experienced similar events):

First, don't worry about "how" the energy got there, just focus your intent on sending it away.

Fear will only feed it.

You CAN stop this!

Put your attention to a higher level, by reading uplifting material, listening to harmonious music, burning white candles. Singing works! so does laughing!

Here are some rituals that will help: Burn sage in your home, in each room. Put a bowl of clear water ( in a clear glass container) out, then dump it in the toilet about every 3 days. It will absorb negativities, very potent.

This is a good way to take charge of your space: Put a bottle of water out in the sun for a day. Then go from room to room, with a partner if you wish, carrying a lighted white candle and the water.

Draw a cross with the water on every door and every mirror in each room. Say this prayer as you go: " This home is a place of joy, peace and healing. Only positive energy may remain. All other energy must leave."

Its very empowering to be in charge of your space !

This just popped in ; place a bowl of salt under your bed, changing it from time to time, and the water bowl place in your bedroom and the "scary" room as well.

You may wish to place salt around the outside of your home.

This may sound like old wives tales, but this ritual work is powerful and is the vehicle for your intention to focus and to flow.

You will LOVE the change in atmosphere !

It would be helpful to do this prior to your surgery...if not, see if someone will help you with a few of these things as soon as possible.

Decide the negative and lower energy is NOT staying. Invite it to leave! It will.

One note: Don't leave the water bowl in a place where your dog can drink from it, or water plants with it.

In the toilet and flush, then refill if you wish.

Declare "only the highest and best" for your home, family and loved ones. This calls in the Higher energies with good intent.

(I learned most of this work from my sensei, who is a Shamantic healer and practioner. )

Thank you very much for your advice. I will be sure to put it to good use. And yes, I have a cat, so I'll have to be careful about where I leave the water!

I probably will do this before the surgery, because I will be spending alot of my time alone in the house...and I don't think I'd be very comfortable under the circumstances. Thanks again!

If it were me I would use a Star of David rather then a cross.
The Star of David in its original hebrew means "Shield of David", and can be seen throughout many rituals as a protective symbol.

Question it. Identify it. What is it? What is its name? Insist on the truth. If it has no truth, then it has no power. Be aware of what it communicates, but DO NOT let it dictate your behavior. It follows you, you do not follow it. It cannot control you if you can choose how you respond to it. You want only to know what it is without being permanently chained to its consequences.

It is an unknown, so be careful, but do not surrender to fear. It may be that your fear of the unknown is the reason why it has come to your attention.

This is most important, if what I have written makes no sense, or does not help, then do not give my words another moment of your attention.

i had a ouiji board once, it didnt do a damn thing. i not really knowing anything about ouiji boards decided that the cheap plastic and cardboard piece of crap needed improvement. i thought i heard somewhere that you were supposed to have a magnet on the pointer for some reason. i put two medium sized magnets on the cheap piece of crap and tried again. it still didnt do anything but i did feel light headed and hear a audible ringing in my ears. still say their bs though.

 

lol. Yeah, I guess that they could be considered cheap pieces of crap...but you have to open your mind and your home to unknown forces in order for it to work properly. I don't know if playing with that is what caused this to follow me around, or if it was my general behavior...but either way, I'm not the same person that I was and it needs to leave.

The person that said I was leaking clouds of desire really freaked me out...I've always been told that I 'ooze sexuality' and if that is causing this to be attracted to me, I'm going to stop being sexual right this instant!! Its one thing to attract human beings...its another thing to attract things that give me a really weird, uncomfortable, frightened feeling. Yuck.

I am troubled by a demon, and I understand your problem. I tried going to my church to see if they could help, and the priest I talked to told me to seek psychiatric help. I looked on the internet for help, and I got a recommendation for a book called psychic self defence. I bought the book, but it was not for me, as I am already under the demonic influence. I just read latley that one should pray to the Holy Spirit to fill them, as there will be no room for any other influence if you are filled with the Holy Spirit. See what your local church can do, and confess your sins. If you are truthful, the demon will leave you alone, because demons are liers.

 

I would say to just tell it to fuck off. It's not the words, or any sort of ritual that matter, it's the intent. Then again you could always try taking control of it...

 

Ouija boards are bad news as far as I'm concerned.

I have a ouija board and it did nothing for me either. I did it by myself and I was petrified just in case the pointer DID move.
