need help..which type of weed is better

not new to marijuana
but can't really figure this stuff outt

what does everyone think is better
freshly picked heddies
or freshaly picked haze
im not sure on the type of haze btu from my friend who is also my dealer, he says it smells like fruit loops ( the cereal )
not sure if its at all possible for that
help please
also...
if someone can post a link so i can see al.most types of pot, and figure out whats best and whats not so good

It's not the strain, it's how it's grown. Almost nobody I know IRL even names strains or anything...

And yes, it's possible for it to smell like fruit loops. I've had weed that smelled like lots of stuff... we had some stuff that smelled/tasted like it was flushed with straight pineapple juice.

go for the haze, the fruity pebbles/fruit loops are usually a good description of the bud.

 

First off Headies are a name for the quality of the bud not a strain. Haze is a type of strain that is considered headies. The different levels of quality of pot go as follows. At least this is how they are in my neck of the woods, from least quality up to the good stuff.
Schwag: The bottom rung of pot lots of stems and seeds kinda smells dirty, almost looks more brown than green. It smokes pretty harsh and you usually need to smoke a bit of it to get a good buzz going.

Mids/Middies: Pretty cheap good for all around smoking but I prefer them for rolling big ol jays and blunts with. Still has some seeds/good amount of stems. Looks alot greener smokes a bit nicer but is still a bit harsh.


Regs: These are your standard buds they smoke nice get you good and high and have little to no seeds what soever. You should see a good amount of red hairs nice fluffy buds and some good crystals on throughout the bud.


Beasters: These are of about the same quality as regs they are just super dense indoor nugs that have virtually no seeds (Ive never found one at least). They smoke pretty nice but seem to have a bit of a chemical taste to them. I prefer to smoke them out of pipes/bongs as they are very dense and if they arent ground up properly they can make for a tightly pulling joint/blunt


Headies: The creme of the crop of pot. These are the best buds you can find they should be covered in crystals and usually have a very nice smell to them. Its not uncommon for them to smell unlike pot. Ive had some strains that taste/smell like fruit. I never find seeds in my headies and usually after a good hit or two you can already feel yourself slipping away to the effects of marijuana.


Hopefully that cleared up some questions and to anybody else If I mis stated some facts feel free to correct me.

 

its not that you mistated anything, its that different areas and different groups of people will have different means of categorizing their pot. if i asked someone for "merc" or "regs" around here, people would look at me like i had lobsters crawling out of my ears.

here, among the people i know, it goes:
shwag
middies
beasters
nugs
funk/headies

but different people here use different terminology. for instance a lot of times among "urban" folks around here they'll substitute the word "dro" for any pot, beasters on up and usually its not that good. "fire" is likely to be really good stuff, either nuggets or some headies.

it really just depends on local and personal preferences. who you smoke with, who taught you about weed....i've never used the term regs and never knew anyone who did except from hipforums!

 

and no freshly picked pot is worth smoking. that shit needs to be dried and cured if you REALLY want it to be good.
