The rumble of the engine as it idled and rocked me to sleep, i shall really miss that part ....... and in the background Rod Hart singing CB savage hotwater
It feels like more because of all the times you've talked to me (and others here!) via PM I'll bet. I look at my post count and say "holy cow am I ever a gabber mouth!" You should hear me in person after several cups of coffee! My husband would lovingly say that I rarely ever shut up. I know he barely hears half of what I say, yet I still talk, talk, talk. Nature of the beast I suppose.
I know, I know. I've been in hiding I suppose. Felt I was spending way too much time on here. *laughs*
As long as you get done what you want through out the day and your kids still think your a goddess to them then your doing just fine with your time!
I do...but for some reason I notice that when I spend more time online I get really irritable. Not sure why.
(1) Could be like ppl with TV. They feel they are being interupted by the rest of the world? (2)Could be there are alot of jerks online and well it sets a mood? (3)Could be we are so enchanting it brings out your inner devil? I think 3 would fall short badly! lol
Well number 1 sounds legit. I honestly hate having the television on, drives me batty. Jerks online, sure, that could be it sometimes. I can only take so much negativity before it makes me in a bad mood. My inner devil? Hmmm, now there's a thought! *laughs*
yankNburn what part of MO do you live in? im a fellow missourian. I'm an hour from springfield , in the wonderful small ass town of joplin.
Oh yes exit 4 home of the Petro, the Pilot, the Loves just after or before (depends on direrction) of the scales, know it well. I live about 100 miles southeast of Springfield so 2.5 hours from Joplin in the big town of Mountain View Missouri. No mountains and no view, lol
yep! thats missouri!!! alot of grass and trees. ive heard of mountain view, never been there before, you sure know our truck stops! (of course your were a truck driver, lol) I love going to petro, they have some really sweet stuff there. did you ever get a chance to check out the spook light? its pretty close to that area. ive still never seen the damn light, but my friends have, even if you dont see it, its a great party place, lots of parked cars and beer and weed and fucking. lol.
I have a funny truck stop story. Traveling with my Grandparents when I was around 7 or 8, Grandpa wants to stop for dinner at a truck stop he remembered having delicious food. Grandma, the proper southern belle, says she finds the very idea disgusting! Grandpa finnally talks her into going. So I come back from the bathroom and ask, "Whats a french tickler?". Grandma gasps in horror and says, "Damn it Iven, I told you this is no place to take a lady for dinner!"
