Wow! Talk about a generous, caring soul!

Once in a while, I go on Google News and search "pit bull" just to see what kind of crap they have on there (and they rarely have any other breeds if you just search "dog bite" or "dog attack").
This morning, I decided to do just that, and here's what I found:

SANTA FE (AP) - An anonymous donor is offering to pay for neutering and spaying pit bulls and pit bull mixes brought to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter.

Officials say about 2,000 pit bulls and pit bull mixes are brought to the shelter annually.

Shelter executive director Duane Adams says the problem of pit bull overpopulation is 1 of the most tragic in Santa Fe.

Someone's got a lot of money... it's nice to see they're doing something good with it!

 

Mad props to this individual. Too many people and shelters just write off the pits and put them down. Its awesome to see someone providing this type of generosity to such a family friendly breed with a bad rep.
