Where do tat's hurt the most?

I am going to go get a tat in the next few weeks. I already have on on my right bicep, and that one didn't hurt much. More of an annoying, constant pain.

I am trying to decide if I want to get one on my back, the middle... overlaying the spine... OR ...If I should get one on the back of my arm, kinda by the tricep area.

I always heard that getting ink on you spine hurts like hell. Can anyone verify this for me? What about on the back of your arm?

 

No idea, I can tell you getting your ribs done is alot of pain.

My bicep/shoulder tatt didn't hurt much. I have another one which covers my left pec and edges over onto my upper rib area. I can tell ya that the rib area hurts like HELL. A guy i know who has a lot of tatts also said that one of his most painful ones was the one which covers his shin. I guess anywhere where the bone is really close to the skin would be a lot more painful than somewhere padded by fat or muscle.

i found my wrist tattoo hurt quite a bit.

 

Most tatts hurt right on your epidermis.

Mine did anyway.

 

i have one on the inside arch of my foot. Hurt like hell.

Wherever you have nerve density, you're going to have more ability to feel pain.

You know where they are.

And if you don't, tattooing will certainly enlighten you.

Don't base where you get the tattoo on where it would hurt the least. It's likely going to hurt no matter where you get it. If it hurts a little bit less in one spot, does that really make a difference when it's all said and done?

 

i recently got 3 nautical stars on my ribs...
out of getting my lip, libre, tongue, and dick pierced along with another tat on my back...
i would say the ribs hurt like nothing else ive ever felt

calf....my calf hurt so badly because the tattoo "artist" didnt know what he was doing,and instead of putting the needle in through 2 layers of skin, he pushed it in as far as it would go. It's badly scarred, and was VERY bruised afterwards.

like still remains said...do not base your tattoo on how much it is going to hurt. It will bring you a lifetime of happyness, a little while of pain is totally worth it (kinda like giving birth )

my wrist was pretty easy for me, the side of my foot was pretty painful, but not to bad, I would imagine other spots to be way worst.

 

chest tattoos like right over your heart hurt like fuck lol and anywhare near your neck or arm pit......and aparently foot tattoos are painful as fuck too lol my sister has like 4 and i got to watch her cry the whole way thru lol

Anyhow, to answer the OP - I think that greatly depends on a couple of things, namely the experience of the artist and the type of tattoo. I had a solid black tattoo done on the back of my neck by an apprentice that hurt like hell (all those needles!) and behind my ears done by someone with fifteen years experience that wasn't bad at all. The top of my feet were pretty weird to get done. It made me very twitchy.

 

Well i used to think the arm pit and ditch hurts the most. My peal who has here armpit, back and hand dune,,,,,just got another one on her foot and toes she says the toes hurt the most.
