So..I'm gonna try marijuana for the first time soon with some good friends. lol Yes, I'm an old one. I'm on a pretty significant amount of Vicodin (for pain management) and have built up a high tollerance for it. Will this change the effect is has on me? I'm guessing I should lay off the pain pills the day I try it?
no, weed does not react with any other drugs negatively, unless it is the other drug (usually liq) that causes it (i.e. throwing up..)
Yeah you'll be alright with the vicodin man, especially if you've been taking it for awhile and have built up a tolerance to it. Like killswitch said there wont be any bad side effects or anything.
When my friend had his wisdom teeth removed, he was on hella vicodin, and he was smoking everyday. He even smoked a few bowls that were sprinkled with the stuff, so you'll be fine.
I had a tooth abcess last week, and I was taking vicodins and I didn't stop smoking pot. I did notice that when I'd come down the pain would be strong though. Not sure if that's caused by the marijauna or not, but it happened everytime I smoked while on the vics.
I have had eight spinal surgeries for back problems and use countless pain killers, muscle relaxers, and arthritis medicine. Vicodins are great but one does build a tolerance. Personally I grew tired of my choices. A) Deal with intolerable pain or B) lose myself in pain meds which really mess me up. Now days I manage the pain with smoke. It sufficiently dulls the pain but leaves me coherent enough to function. I still have my bottle of the magic pills for those really rough days, but have found smoke does the trick. And yes, to get a true concept of how the smoke will or will not work ... the pain meds need to work thru your system.
MAry and vicodins'll be fine. I've done that a few times with a pill junkie friend'o mine. Ofcourse, I prefer straitup dope and hash. It's all good.
