If you don't like the game, and feel like a prisoner

    1. suicide (sad but essay way out)
    2. win the lottery (unlikely)
    3. start a revolution (lol)
    4. marry some wealthy person (shallow)

its never too late for suicide, so no point doing it.

Maybe work hard, combine resources and efforts and start something different.

Put on your walking shoes. Walk to the mountain just to see what you can see. Grab backpack with bear essentials and learn to live on your own. Walk to the horizon and forget about the game.

The thing about this game is you can just get up and leave, but no one ever does. Everyone complains and cries and hangs themselves, but all you have to do is walk out your front door and leave it behind. To keep anything is to stay in the game.

What do you win in this game? You can't win. The more you play, the closer you seem to get to the end, but its an illusion. The game drags you farther in and ties you down with responsibilities, obligations, pointless laws, mindless overlords, a greater desire for money, and an ever deepening hole in your pocket that is bound to become your grave.

Leave the game and you find what it means to win. You can't lose if you don't play. God will shelter you and take you up to meet him when the time is right. You won't be scared to leave if there is nothing keeping you here but the joy of everyday living that is bound is be infinite upon reaching the great gig in the sky

    not attacking you, but..

You are 18 and probably have no children, family, responsibilities, obligations, dependents, and probably live off your parent's income.

What you say, is easier said than done.

^ im 16 and i have to say what bigblod said is pretty much what ive been saying for 2 years now, not word for word, but the basic idea (apart from god and that). i call it a fuck it. if ever i feel truely suicidal again, i will do a fuck it. leave everything, go away start fresh life. responsibilities can be left behind, dependants should learn to live independantly, being 18 is the best minimal age to start, family would understand if they loved you, and children..... LMAO - this is why i have told myself i do not want children, u dont know when u an ur partner will stop liking each other, people get bored and when they see someone everyday, they might not like them anymore. a kid is an 18 year contract binding you to that person. fuck i dont want a 18 year contract.
many ofcourse do a fuck it while they have a kid (like my dad) and they pretty much ruin his womans life and his kids childhood. me experiencing it would not wish it on anyone, therefor i refuse to have kids

The big assumption you make is that you need to money to win the game. You dont'.

    No it isn't.
Just walk outside and keep walking.
To quote Oscar Wilde (from a second party), you are not young enough to know everything.

FYI quoting supposedly wise people second-hand makes you look like a jackass.

No, but you need money to quit the game.

and it is not about winning or losing the game, it is about not playing or being forced to play to survive

now, if one is rich, wealthy and privileged than you don't have to worry about the game
