I am really worried about this thing, and maybe u guys have already been through it or know a little more then i do about this shit. I am going to the hospital on tuesday, for some exams and blood tests and other shits. Nothing to do with a drug test tho i am wondering if it could pop out that i used stuff in da past weeks. If it does pop up, will they have to tell my parents? I'll be 15... cuz i know they're something different if ur 15 or less... anyways if anyone can reassure me about this or maybe crash my hopes to get away with it i'd really apreciate it....

Doctors are supposed to keep medical records confidential, but that's probably more if you see a doctor separately from your family doctor. Since you are going into hospital there is a good chance they'll be told.

But then again they may not detect any drugs. When I've had blood tests they only test for the illnesses etc they're looking for.

You know, parents are pretty smart... the odds are that they will find out sooner or later.

 

That's not likely. You have to run specific test to get drug results...which are too expensive to just be running for the hell of it, in which case most insurance companies won't pay for anyway. Unless your parents are suspicious..you're probably cool.

 

Its very expensive to perform blood tests... like $150, thats why urinalysis is so common. The hospital won't do it for free... if there just doing general blood work, it won't be tested unless your parents specifically ask.
