seriously. If I hear any more about football I am going to pull my hair out. 3 day of nothing but football is eneough for me.

 

A. J. Feeley and Brian Westbrook are definitely taking it to the Pats. I think many of the teams that New England beat up on were already defeated before the opening kickoff. The Eagles definitely came to play. It's good for any favored team not to get the idea that every win will come easy.

As I write this Philly takes the lead.

i know this probably means shit all to you guys down in the states but my team the saskatchewan roughriders won the grey cup tonight and thats the cfls big trophy

 

The CFL is a hell of a good league. There should be inter-league games where the home stadium league rules and playing field size are enforced. A few of our better players had stints in Canada.

Thats what I love about football, I don't care at all what happens so if "my team" loses I just remember that i don't like football..although now I hear there is systematic rape going on in the stands

 

It was a great game and a good way to ease me into accepting that yes, they will be defeated at some point this year. Their defense is pretty vulnerable and the Ravens, Steelers, Jets, Dolphins, and Giants have some very valuable film to look over if they want to be effective against New England's defense. Three of the upcoming five games are definitely losable... although if Eli Manning plays the way he played today we'll have two possible losses.

Yep- I heard John Madden talking about our inside vulnerability. It proves that if you take away Randy Moss, Tom Brady becomes human.

 

they went inside all damn game. they'll fix it for upcoming games. and they'll work Randy into getting open more - those 2 backs are quite good though, and working as a pair is tough - i dont' know if another team other than Pitsburgh has the defense to be able to do what they did with Randy. we'll see.

 

Pittsburgh is one of the two or three teams that could beat them. The Giants are not consistent enough and we may actually pull out a fairly easy win and possibly knock them out of the post-season. I don't see Miami putting up much of a fight and God help them if the Jets pull the upset... I'm sure Belichick won't have any mercy.

This leaves Baltimore who haven't been playing up to par... they're 4-7, but I doubt Ray Lewis will roll over for New England. Watch that game play closer than projected.
