    Hey y'all,
I am leaving CA in about 10 days by land. I have traveled Mexico for over ten years and below is a list of things that would be great to bring as they can be harder to find once you cross the Mexican-American ass crack...
1-Spices and herbs such as tarragon, gotu kola, cardamom, star anise, funky teas, etc (all the exotic shit that hippies know and love). Common things such as cinnamon, cumin, bay leaves, pepper, etc can be found at most small grocery stores in Mexico.
2- A good collection of first aid gear
3- A good tent and tarp. Although in Xalapa(northern Vera Cruz) there is a place that makes and sells tarps. Either way both things are cheaper and of better quality outside of Mexico.
4- Any type of solar panels
5- Any large cooking gear that is stainless steel
